Wire wool spinning

Driving along the back roads of west central Oklahoma I came across this coil of barbed wire on a fence post. It is an interesting subject of the life of the farmer in Oklahoma.

I do have to say that one of the many joys of our downsizing move has been the stunning sunset views from our second floor balcony. The images in this trio posted today were taken within minutes of one another. The light and mood change like patterns in a kaleidoscope. Nature is truly awesome in the original sense of the word.
