I am going to make a series of paintings in a specific genre "Dragons"!!
These are only the backdrops though they are already nice to look at a bit trippy :)
I will post the end result once they are all done!
The first one is finished and I am pretty pleased with the result!
The series contains:
2 x 40 cm by 120 cm by 2 cm canvas (panorama)
4 x 70 cm by 50 cm by 2 cm canvas
version 4 WIP.I changed the nose and interior a bit.EDIT: I destroyed the plane and am now building an A-10.

I'm not willing it to call it a finished product quite yet, but I believe that this version adresses most of the issues with the WIP.

This week's theme was: Y is for Yarn Spinner
Considering that this WIP was sitting right next to my desk, it was a bit silly to leave it to the very last day to take a photo.
This is a crochet cardigan that I'm working on.
A total WIP, besides the obvious of color coordinating, what else needs to be fixed? I'll add weapons, and greebles later, but I need a sturdy construction first
This is the tank mode, as it stands now, of my WIP guy. I gotta chop off that green piece sticking off the side of the gun and then figure a way to mount the gun to the tank mode - probably magnets. I generally don't like "part forming" but in this case, gotta make do with what I got.
Yesterday I was home alone and listened to my audiobook, as I pieced this together - it is odd and uneven and and strange and totally without a theme and it sort of just happened...
well, at least it is colourful! :-)
I don't know if it is going to be a baby blanket again; I might chop it up into strips and sew them together with some other fabric... maybe I'll just keep this one going without a plan whatsoever.... it will turn into something at some point, I guess?!

Une petite mise à jour bien tardive de ce prototype. En réalité il est plus avancé que ça actuellement! Promis, je mets vite d'autres photos!
I'm still working on this little guy. I've made more sculpting on him since I've taken these pictures... New pictures soon!
This little quilty thing was going to be the back of a witches cape, like the snow white witch, like she's putting the spell on the apple to make the princess sleep...
gonna embroider a little bit of flowers and stuff
Some WIP shots showing the modular nature of the build and how the different chunks fit together. I don't consider myself a very advanced builder so I'm proud of myself for coming up with this SNOT structure. Each chunk is sort of "locked" in place by pieces in other directions. The end result is very sturdy, I can pick up the entire ship by the front prongs without worrying about anything breaking.

My WIP for a Vic Viper. My main concerns are the rear color blocking and engines. They both pretty well suck. I am reletivly satisfied with the prongs.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Oh and I already learnde a valuable lesson. When I take the real photos I will not use a white background. White moc on white background = photo editing is a pain in the butt.

I'm arranging the tiles on the background to see how I want to proceed. The blue edge is PERFECT, and I had just enough to double them (back to back) to make them sit as high as the thick tile. I have a nice bar of marble, too, but then I found letter beads! I don't know if they're too cutesy. I DO NOT want anyone to tell me this fountain is CUTE. That's the kiss of death to me. I don't want to look cute, be cute, say cute things. So I think the beads may have to go. I would do some quote in them, maybe around the whole edge, but I don't know that I have enough beads. I wanted the background to be plain but solidly dramatic. It shouldn't take away from the butterfly but should make it pop more, rather than blend. I think these tiles work.
As I'm building this thing I'm realizing that I'm making something I cannot lift. That's scary.
