WIP - I'm still thinking about what comes next . . . . if anything
2nd Mosaic portrait based on my original drawing (2016) of Rosario, for Julia Kay's Portrait Party!
The 1st portrait (below, 11"x14"), was started in a short course in Spilembergo Italy this summer, where I didn't have access to all the materials, sizes & colors, I would have liked to use. The 2nd rendition, 18"x15", was created from start to finish, with abundant materials, in my own studio. The process I learned at Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, was used for both.
Credits to Corvin Stichert's Eurocopter Tiger for some inspiration.
Let me know what you think! Enjoy!
Note:
This is still a WIP, things might change
At the explore stage #wip piece being made in collaboration with children. And yes yes im losing the lettering:))
Working on Pullip convention items this week! First up, the Summer dress. This is the 4th time I'm remaking this dress, the first 3 times were Autumn, Spring, and then Winter colorways, so this dress will complete the set.
Lots of things to do. It's always hard figuring out what to make for Puddle, because there are too many doll body sizes. 😵
For stock Pullips, you have 5 different bodies: the Pullip, Dal, Isul, Taeyang, and Yeolume bodies, all of which are vastly different measurements.
But it doesn't stop there!
Pullip has 4 body types depending on the year of release, and the most common is Type 4. However, Type 4 is the skinniest so if you make something specifically for that body, it won't fit many of the dolls at the convention.
But nope, the problems don't stop there either!
I would say about half the people at the convention rebody their dolls. They use various Obitsu 27 or Barbie bodies for the Pullips, Obitsu 21/23 or Azone S for the Dals, and Azone XS for the Yeolumes. Comparing an Obitsu27 to a stock Pullip body.... they are vastly different!
As you can see, It's really difficult for me to decide which sizes to make every year. Some years I made Pullip specific dresses, but so many Pullips were rebodied that it didn't fit them. So my solution so far.... is to make everything Blythe sized!! It might be a little loose on stock Pullip and Dals, but at least it fits most 1:6 dolls including Obitsu and Momokos. 😂
.
(but actually my real secret is to make sure most the Blythe things I make... fit Kikipop!! 😎)
2 of my other projects :3
I'm just going to work with one of them at the moment. These are just to have a model in mind and they may/might change.
Sorry for the "best" photo quality, I'm charging the battery of my good camera.
Another WIP photo of my last MOC.
Some are quite rough and without detail. The ones that were in front (on the upside of the tube) are much more detailed than the lower ones.
Legs done, knees do articulate like the MG models!
Looking for tips on smoothing it out a bit, its quite difficult.
They are multiplying like little bunnies. And the colors are making me think of spring. All in all, very Easter-y.

A quick WIP, my previous ones are bad, and I'm finishing Phineas. Anyways, can you guess? ( I left a big hint) also, kinda showing some more in the back, MetalHead, Baxter Fly, Catbug (I love Bravest Warriors) and I'm upgrading Pac.
I'm also showing of my new custom Disney Infinity figs in the background, 2099 Spidey and Carnage. Comment if you want to see a pic of just them, or if you want me to make more (I'll be making them anyways, why not show them?)
My new project.
Feel in love with this engine when I saw it on the turntable in York.
Right now I’m just experimenting, I’m not fixed on the wheel arches and will probably have to change them when the XXL wheels arrive.
Everything else is pretty much temporary, a lot will have to change when ordering all the green parts.
This model will also feature NO brick built lining, this will be the first model that’ll use decals.
After I’m done with this engine, my plan is to revisit every single engine and remove all brick built lining. I’ve thought about it a lot and trying to incorporate lining brick built, limits the accuracy of my models. I want to focus more on the shapes and proportions.
- not the case anymore 12/9/18
This build has been put on the back burner like the many others before it, waiting on parts (pink). Also sanding the exterior of the house for painting. Uuuuugh house maintenance. Sanding isn’t fun on this scale but will be satisfying in the end.
Anyways back to LEGO,
Added a bunch of thrusters! Going for lots of mobility, and also trying out cannon sizes. I have chosen a design since. Still figuring how to shape/decorate the area behind the cockpit.
Was hoping to have it finished before a LEGO show I’m exhibiting at coming this weekend. But unfortunately not the case.
Currently watching Patlabor so maybe some Japan inspire police Mocs coming soon, think I might do a bridge police roadblock scene. We will see.
So I finally managed to start working on my SHIP for SHIPtember.
This first shot is to illustrate something: I'm one of those who already have built a SHIP or two but I never really measured any of them in studs. So I thought it was interesting to see what 100 studs looks like compared to other stuff. My Gahnn Dreadnaught just happened to be there on my desk. I found my tiny truck and my girlfriend's BillCleanbot and added them for scale comparison.
Also the spheres for those wondering: nothing to do with Shiptember really but i recently discovered this connection was possible and wanted to share! ;)
As much as I don't like posting wip shots I will be posting some shot of the progress so far this week.

WIP for my first Gen 2 MOC. Let me know what you think of it so far and feel free to suggest a mask. Not sure how I feel about this one.
Sorry, :P my last picture had my mailing address, and I'm not ready to make that public information so... yeah.
Anyways, I've added greebles, messed around with jutting details, and have gotten this thing to 89 studs thus far.
Constructive criticism would be appreciated!
God bless!
