sooo......... Story Time

I have done a couple of these story time post and I have not mentioned this amazing woman yet. Well listen up and listen carefully. Her name is Imajica Flow...and she is my second life mother.

Once upon a time little Nana was alone and had no one to guide her through the second life universe, and she hung out with people called "The Flows", over time she learned that they were amazing people.

Couple months down the road thy asked her to be their daughter, she obviously said hell yeah and from that point on it was history.

I'v been with them for what seems like years, and to be honest. If it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't be the young lady that I am today. Just because it is second life, doesn't mean that it doesn't effect your real life.

Now...this woman...is the mommy of the house. She has taught me things that I have learned about myself that I don't think I would have known without her. She is my +1, my best friend, kind of like my real life mother. Without her I would feel empty.

MORAL OF THE DAMN STORY: Keep people you love close, so close that you can hardly hold on to them anymore. They are apart of your life for a reason, they help you grow, help you love, help you forgive, help you learn, and help you through all the mistakes along the way.

The inspiration for this image was cooking Thanksgiving dinner which really started the day before Thanksgiving because of all of the side dishes that just do not fit in the oven with the Turkey. It also had me thinking of baking for the Holiday season, cookies, pies and more cookies :). It does reach a point where you feel you will never finish much less clean up the mess.

MISS SL ♛ Argentina 2021, Falina Katze-Elmer - Second Photo Challenge

The Art as Mindfulness project (by Miss SL ♛ 2020 Ella Pavlona) aims to introduce the residents of Second Life to the use of art as a way of helping to understand their feelings and emotions. The project is focused on the process of the creation of art rather than the actual artwork. This aims to encourage the participants to carefully identify and describe the feelings they have through photography (using appropriate location, colors and music which inspire) and being mindful of their emotions and the state of mind as they create a piece of art.

For the Miss SL♛ 2nd Photo Challenge, the pageant contestants were asked to find a music piece on Youtube which inspires and at once best reflects their current mood and state of mind - and then translate that into photo art.

Description:

Miss SL♛ Argentina was inspired to choose “Albatross" by Fleetwood Mac to reflect her mood at the time of undertaking this challenge. The colors this evokes to her is blue with a touch of white and her styling reflects this. A simple outfit of yoga pants and top.

Blue for peace, tranquility and a calm isolation. White for the purity of form in the yoga pose she uses to clear her mind and meditate on the coming days both in First and Second Life.

She practices her yoga on a bridge which symbolically represents the joining of her first and Second life and needing absolute balance in her life if she is to succeed.

Music:

Miss SL ♛ Argentina chose the meditative, calming music Fleetwood Mac - Albatross.
