Thank you my darling for your support as always 💕

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays. Also we have another awesome theme at Crazy Tuesday: Outdated.

Princess wanted to take few pictures of her and Mr. Teddy Bear together. Since it was a very, very spontaneous idea, Mr. Teddy Bear suggested a home photo session. When he was living in Russia, during his circus career, he was a very passionate photographer. He took pictures of everything and everywhere ! He had always his camera with him. Which was very difficult and heavy since Mr. Teddy bear is a miniature but he didn’t want a tiny camera… Yes, we all know that size doesn’t matter, but still Mr. Teddy Bear prefers to have a huge camera dangling on his neck…

So while Princess was trying some more appropriate clothes for the photo session, Mr. Teddy bear took his huge camera out and started to set everything in place…. That is when he realized that his camera was very, very outdated… But it doesn’t matter… even with an outdated equipment you can make miracles ;-).

Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! See you later my friends, I have another morning meeting today !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

In every respect!

The scissor arches, which often visitors believe to be later, modern additions were constructed from 1338-48 as an engineering solution to a very real problem.

By 1313 a high tower topped by a lead covered wooden spire had been constructed but as the foundations were not stable large cracks began to appear in the tower structure.

In fear of a total collapse, several attempts at internal strengthening and buttressing were made, until the famous ‘scissor arches’ were put in place by master mason William Joy as a final solution.

Nothing like being photo bombed by a Canada Goose Gosling!!

Sunset on the beach at Wells Next The Sea

It is well known that the lakes in the Upper Engadine freeze at an altitude around 1800 metres in winter, and I wanted to experience this for myself. I travelled there in mid-February in the most beautiful weather - and it was far too warm for the time of year! But the Lake Sils was frozen and I - like many others - hiked across it to the mouth of the Aua da Fedoz. There, however, the lake was open and formed gorgeous ice sculptures. I just had to make sure that the ice under my feet was stable enough, a cold bath would have been a bit unpleasant...

Seen from my garage window. I left a lot of my fallen apples on the ground this year and have had several grateful deer enjoying them.

...but I lost almost three months on Flickr! Actually, this sunflower is from Kipp's garden. Our first patch of sunflowers and the butterflies and goldfinches loved them:)

I dedicate this one to my dear friend Martha. Be well dear, friend and hope to see your birdies soon!!

Happy wintery weekend!!

Who do we have here...

Musk Lorikeet (Glossopsitta concinna)

One from this day three years ago.

I can't breathe, I'm waiting for the exhale

Toss my pain with my wishes in a wishing well

Still no luck, but oh, well

I still try even though I know I'm gon' fail

Stress on my shoulders like an anvil

Perky got me itching like an anthill

Drugs killing me softly, Lauryn Hill

Sometimes I don't know how to feel

Ring-ring, phone call from depression

You used my past and my memories as a weapon

On the other line, I talk to addiction, huh

Speaking of the devil, all the drugs, I miss them

This can't be real, is it fiction?

Somethin' feels broke, need to fix it

I cry out for help, do they listen?

I'ma be alone until it's finished

This is the part where I tell you I'm fine

But I'm lying, I just don't want you to worry

This is the part where I take all my feelings and hide 'em

'Cause I don't want nobody to hurt me

♫LISTEN♫

will be away for a bit.... don't know if there is internet access... oh well.... sometimes life takes a different turn than planned....

Well my friends WELCOME to 2018 .A year of peace, joy and happiness.

A year made for manifestation and wishes fullfield but also for love, tolerance and kindness.

A year in which for the sake of humanity and of our own happiness we need to remember how to build bridges, unions and relationships instead of breaking them how we did last year.

A year thatt I know it can make all our dreams come true and the world a better place, if we can only stick together in a place of love and positivity and not allow personal fears, frustrations and failures to turn us one against each other.

A year in which I know we can really find the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change what can be changed and the wisdom to know the difference if we understand the importance of it.

A year that I know it can become the best one ever no matter the cicumstances if we can only decide that it will be so and hold this decision in our hearths with love and faith all through our daily ups and downs.

Happy New Year!!! my friends.

And much peace&love to

you all!

It was built between 1175 and 1490, replacing an earlier church built on the same site in 705. It is moderately sized among the medieval cathedrals of England, between those of massive proportion such as Lincoln and York and the smaller cathedrals in Oxford and Carlisle

I think we could do with a break, couldn't we?

This one from Madeira again.

I was asked by someone yesterday if I really had gone bike riding, so I just thought I'd show you a picture my daughter took of me after one of my falls along the trail through the marshmallow field. I'm not sure how many marshmallows I crushed here but I also took out a small tree.

Bad Ems, Germany, located at the Lahn river is a traditional resort town with a lot of buildings from the Emperors time at the beginning of the 20th century. Because of good relations to the Russian Tsar at the beginnings of the 20th Century a lot of Russian citizens stayed here for bathing and wellness. One sign of this is the Russian-Orthodox church which you see here at the Lahn river.

Vicars' Close, in Wells, Somerset, England, is claimed to be the oldest purely residential street with original buildings surviving intact in Europe John Julius Norwich calls it "that rarest of survivals, a planned street of the mid-14th century" It comprises numerous Grade I listed buildings, comprising 27 residences (originally 44), built for Bishop Ralph of Shrewsbury, a chapel and library at the north end, and a hall at the south end, over an arched gate. It is connected at its southern end to the cathedral by way of a walkway over Chain Gate.

Tiny teddy Terry yelled, "Mama! Mama!!"

"What is it, Terry? Are you okay?!"

"Yes, Mama! I am fine. I wanted you to see- I dragged my chair outside on the deck, for a little Fall air. I thought you might want to take my picture for Teddy Bear Tuesday! I will wave to all the bears out there, if you do!"

"Please don't scare Mama to death like that, Terry! But it IS a great idea! Wave to all the people, as well as all the bears! :) Let me get my camera! You are so cute!"
