I used one picture for all the effects just for consistency for comparison. The title for each photo consists of the category of the effect and the name of the effect. Some effects would be better used on a different image. There are some effects also that appear to do the same thing in different effect categories.

My first week through as a member of Me Today :D
Today saw another couple of earthing designs completed and a tidy up of a few bits and pieces on the new design of NEOn. The shot was taken this morning at the start of the work day.
Also had my intro to art class tonight with a bit of colour theory. I'm really interested in pursuing the watercolour + inking images that I got introduced to in the second week, but we'll see where that heads...
Also noticed that I've got a bit of stats happening here:
- Shots at the computer: 5
- Shots in bedroom: 4
- Shots at work: 2
- Shots in the car: 1
- Front of head shots: 4
- Back of head shots: 3
Anyway, that's Me Today!

Despite the closure of the Aberdare Ironworks in 1875, the growth of the coal trade and increasing population led inevitably to the continued development of Trecynon in the later Nineteenth Century and early Twentieth Century. Edward Street was built in the 1870's, Broniestyn Terrace in 1905. St. Fagan's Church was consecrated on 31st July 1854. The church had been built to serve the needs of the growing Anglican congregation in the upper Cynon Valley .In 1848 the Aberdare British Schools (Ysgol-y-Comin) were built on an unenclosed area of Hirwaun Common and in 1896 the Aberdare Boy's County School was built on the Southern edge of Trecynon.

In August 1902 a ceremony was held to mark the laying of the foundation stone of the Trecynon Public Hall and Library by Lord Windsor and D A Thomas M.P. Funds for the construction of the Hall came from a variety of sources, including; The Carnegie Fund - £1,000, Bwllfa Colliery - £105; Lord Windsor - £50; D A Thomas - £50; whilst public subscription raised £180. The hall was officially opened on 10th March 1903 when a grand concert was organised.

This idea came to me when I realized that twitterfox saved me so much time. Rather than using an app or going to the homepage, using a firefox extension is right there. So I thought why can't I check my mail this way? Rather than going to my mail app, why can't I get a little slide down tool that shows me new mail right there in firefox? I call it ThunderFire, and if anyone would like to help me build it. Lets talk.
I have decided to spice it up a bit ;) Let's for how long I will like it ;) The nav bar has new rounded corners, new home icon, new icons for comments, new status iphone like bar, new calendar icon and blue buttons...
I'm pretty sure it would work just fine on the G1 too (similar size touch screen), I have to ask the m6s team if they could adjust the script so that the G1 browser gets to see what the iPhone does.
You know you're in for a new kind of Ikea experience when the instructions are 20 pages and require a clamp, powerdrill, awl, two screw drivers and a hammer.
Here's the guy:

Artist: Garry Breeze in association with Making Marks 2006
extract from Gildencroft Park Improvements page
The new entrance includes a large brick pillar, which is currently being carved with images and text about the area by artist Gary Breeze. Gary and his colleague Charlotte Howarth held 2 workshops in early summer to enable local people to input into the design for the pillar. One workshop was for local school children from Angel Road Middle School; the other was for the general local community and was held at St Augustine’s Church hall.
The final design for the pillar is on a jousting theme, to reflect the Gildencroft’s heritage. The carving work should be complete by the end of October.
