I was going through some old work files and came across a few photos. Several years ago, I was driving this Ford squad when it was hit in the drivers door by another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle, who had been drinking, ran a stop sign before he hit me at 60 mph. I had previously been switched to this full size Ford from a mid size Dodge Diplomat. Needless to say, I DID feel the collision!

As I've wrote in the descriptions of other images of this car, it appears to not be in service for the time being.

So far this particular car is the only one I've seen, so I'm not sure how many WCSO plans on using.

The Sheriff's Office seems to be rather large fans of unmarked cars, so I can't imagine it's just a pilot or admin vehicle.

On a hazy, foggy afternoon Walton County Sheriff's Office works alongside Walton County Fire Rescue and EMS crews to help the driver of a traffic crash get to the ambulance. This picture displays the amazing teamwork among agencies in the Florida Panhandle.

I'm not usually interested in photographing unmarked units that aren't responding (since they look boring), but this apparent admin vehicle has some pretty serious dash lighting up top.
