This is but one such site in a road where there are several others. How many in the area, across London, the UK - everywhere?
Even at this local level, you can see that waste management is a major industry.

Some glorious colors here tonight in Baltimore, Maryland ... and it being trash day tomorrow, how better to showcase this 'waste' of a sunset. Wish I was in a better place for capturing this glorious colors in the sky. A few minutes after this it was some deep reds.
Neighbors had to think I was nuts kneeling out by the trash :))
