Now on sale @ Japonica 2022 summer.
This view is ordinary peaceful afternoon seaside little town in japan.
Even we have Covid-19. But we have to live day by day.
That's why we need it and love it.

Hello New Year
I have no idea what the next days will be.
It's light or darkness.
But that is our days, our lives.
Let us survive these days together.

Wishing for Happiness.
Wishing for Peace.
We have had some very crazy days this year.
Crazy... Weird... I don't know what to call it.
It will be some time before we will know its name.

This is not for the contest, but I made the same concept, so there's a citation for it.
"Le vent se lève, il faut tenter de vivre."(The wind is rising, we must try to live.) from Le Cimetière marin by Paul Valéry
In Japan, this sentence is better known as the title of a novel by Tatsuo Hori or, more recently, an animated film by Hayao Miyazaki than as a poem by Valéry.

We are now ...
How can we face difficult situations with good sense and intelligence?
How to aim for a kind and caring world without racism?
We are being tried by virus...

The dark hero burns everything to the ground and becomes the king of a world in chaos. Perhaps this is the hope that lies deep within the psyche of modern society.

Has Pandora's Box already opened?
To me, this sinking house seems symbolic of today's world.
The permafrost has melted and the war has begun.
Global warming will make climate and life on this planet more difficult.
And This war will drastically change the way the world is.
What I fear is that the powerful countries will intensify their struggle for supremacy, and that nationalism and "country first" will rise in each country.
What can we, as inhabitants of a virtual world without borders, do for the real world?
I don't know yet.

Thank you for having so many people come to the opening party yesterday.
It was a lovely time.
With so many people, I may not have been able to say hello because I didn't know where anyone was. I'm sorry...
Because of my Timezone, I don't often share the same time and space with many of my Flickr followers, but yesterday was a magical time.
And maybe, just maybe... I'm so glad that people like my work.
The exhibition will run until next January.
If you are interested in my "Not Square Pic", please come to the show.
I would be very happy to share something with you.
