Am 05.04.20 wollte ich mal nach Linz (Rhein), genauer gesagt Wallen.
Ich wollte mal was anderes als die Brücke ausprobieren und bin kurzerhand auf dem Boden geblieben. :-)
Es war wenig Verkehr unterwegs, daher muss mal die 185 277 mit der Schwesterlok vor einem Kesselzug herhalten.
Die einzige 181.2er-Leistung auf der rechten Rheinstrecke zwischen Koblenz und Köln war in den 90er Jahren der D 1272/1273. Hier führt 181 217 den D 1273 (Köln Hbf - Port Bou) auf dem Streckenabschnitt Köln Hbf - Metz Ville.
De stad Heusden omringd door aarden wallen, bastions, grachten en ravelijnen, zag er in de 16e eeuw al uit zoals ze er nu nog altijd grotendeels uit ziet.
Heusden is gelegen aan de Bergsche Maas.
Heusden's history began around the year 1200 with the establishment of an urban settlement beside the River Maas. Its heyday was the construction of the fortifications: from the end of the 16th century Heusden was a garrison town accommodating thousands of soldiers.

On monday 11 December Amsterdam is covered in a coat of fresh snow. The snow fell in sudden flurries and gusts and turned the world white and wonderful. With the canals in the city and occasional high winds, there can be a nip in the air, but packing gloves and a scarf should keep you warm enough. There is something very beautiful about Amsterdam in the winter. It does occasionally snow in Amsterdam in February, but that almost always means just a light dusting. I walk in my neighbourhood and made some photos of the snow. When it snows the light and atmosphere is really beautiful. The steep bridges over the canals in Amsterdam are really slippery, especially for cars. The best way to travel in the snow is by bicycle, tram, walking or better by sleds. Who knows times of Hendrick Avercamp are coming back this year. Avercamp was the first Dutch artist to specialize in paintings of winter landscapes featuring people enjoying the ice. Some 400 years on, our image of life in the harsh winters of the Golden Age is still dominated by Avercamp’s ice scenes with their splendid narrative details of couples skating, children pelting each other with snowballs and unwary individuals falling through the ice.
This monday afternoon I walk in my neighbourhood and made some beautiful photos of the snow. The virgin white carpet of snow is crunching under my shoes. I began to remember why I love the winters so much. This time around, the canals remained relatively ice-free and there was lots of snow. The Wallen, also known as the rosse buurt to Amsterdammers and the Red Light District to visitors is actually the oldest part of Amsterdam. The neighbourhood is chock-full of interesting shops, pubs, fantastic restaurants, leaning gabled houses and the city’s most charming canals. The wind is strong which make it harsh. KNMI released today its “Code Red” alert for heavy snowfall.
Op de maandag middag van 11 december werd Amsterdam bedekt met een laagje verse sneeuw. De sneeuw die viel bedekte de wereld om ons heen wit en prachtig. Ik heb mijn camera gepakt en op pad gegaan in m'n buurtje. Ik geniet van het geluid van knarsende sneeuw onder mijn schoenen en het prachtige gezicht op de Amsterdamse grachtenpanden. Het is min één graden en de grijze sneeuw wolken trekken weg. Mijn handschoenen en m'n sjaal houden mij warm genoeg. Er is iets heel moois over Amsterdam in de winter. Mokum is bedolven onder dik pak sneeuw zoals hierboven op de Oudezijds Achterburgwal. Amsterdam heeft vandaag opnieuw te maken met forse sneeuwval. Het KNMI heeft code rood afgegeven, een waarschuwing voor gevaarlijk weer. Het beste advies is dan maar om lekker binnen te blijven en de kachel iets hoger te zetten. Of natuurlijk even naar buiten te gaan om wat mooie plaatjes te schieten. Naast de overlast zorgt de sneeuw ook voor veel plezier bij kinderen hier in de Amsterdamse Jordaan. Sneeuwballen gevecht, sneeuwpoppen maken of sleetje rijden. Allemaal leuke activiteiten die kinderen doen in deze mooie besneeuwde wereld. Wie even wegdenkt kan zich vandaag in Hendrick Avercamps wereld wanen. Als eerste Amsterdamse kunstenaar uit de 17de eeuw specialiseerde hij zich in het schilderen van winterlandschappen met ijspret. Ons beeld van het leven in de strenge winters in de Gouden Eeuw wordt na 400 jaar nog altijd bepaald door Avercamps ijsgezichten met prachtige verhalende details van schaatsende paartjes, kinderen die elkaar bekogelen met sneeuwballen of een man die door het ijs zakt.

De Wallen is a red-light district in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Historically because of proximity to the harbor the area has attracted both prostitution and migrant populations and these are the features it is best known for today. It consists of a network of alleys containing approximately three hundred one-room cabins, typically illuminated with red lights, rented by prostitutes who offer their sexual services. These "kamers" are a large tourist attraction. The area also has a number of sex shops, sex theatres, peep shows, a sex museum, a cannabis museum, and a number of coffee shops that sell marijuana. Near this spot, in 1988, Chet Baker was found dead and there is a plaque to remember him.

Biography
“Die Droste”—as she is often called in German—was born two months prematurely on January 10, 1797 at Hülshoff, her family's castle near Münster in Westphalia. (Official records state Jan. 12, but according to her sister Jenny's diary, the true birthdate was Jan. 10.)
As was suitable for one born into the nobility, she was christened with the amazingly long name of Anna Elisabeth Franzisca Adolphine Wilhelmine Louise Maria von Droste-Hülshoff. Perhaps because of her premature birth, she was a sickly child who suffered from health problems all her life. She and her siblings (a sister and two brothers) were educated in music and literature by private tutors (Hofmeister).
Annette (her nickname) was a bright child and began writing very early. But as a woman of the 19th century, she had problems being accepted as a serious poet and author.
Much to her disappointment, Annette's first book (1838) was met with either scorn or indifference, and a mere 74 copies were sold. Although later editions of her work sold better, at the time of her death she was still virtually unknown.
Today die Droste is regarded as the most significant poet of her era. Her portrait graced the German 20-mark note until the arrival of the euro.

In 1825 Annette traveled to the Rhine (Bonn, Cologne, Koblenz) to visit relatives and to meet other German writers, including Adele Schopenhauer, Simrock and A.W. Schlegel.
In 1826, following the death of her father, Clemens August von Droste-Hülshoff, Annette, her sister Jenny and her widowed mother (Therese) lived in the Rüschhaus (House of the Rushes) near Münster, although Annette sometimes also revisited the Rhine and traveled to Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Levin Schücking
In 1831 she met the novelist Levin Schücking (1814-1883), with whom she fell in love. However, the 17-years-younger Schücking seemed to regard her only as a good friend. He encouraged her writing and while she was living at the residence of her brother-in-law (Baron von Lassberg) at Meersburg on Lake Constance (Bodensee, 1841-42), where Schücking was librarian, she wrote some of her best poems.
The pair spent time working and going for long walks together. After Schücking left Meersburg to accept another post (1842), an intensive exchange of letters followed, but he married Louise von Gall in October 1843. Nevertheless, die Droste and Schücking continued to collaborate on various literary projects.
He and his wife even visited Annette at Meersburg in May 1844. But the Droste-Schücking relationship came to a final end in 1846. (Annette was very displeased with things he had written in his 1846 novel Die Ritterbürtigen.)
Droste-Hülshoff continued to write, but her health deteriorated further. Yet somehow she managed to travel to Bonn and Rüschhaus in the year before her death. On May 24, 1848 she died in Meersburg. Two days later she was laid to rest in the local cemetery.
Annette von Droste-Hülshoff left behind a sizable body of work that includes over 250 poems, more than 30 ballads, a novella and other (mostly fragmentary) prose works, plus almost 400 personal letters.
