“Walking bass” is a musical idiom which refers to the line played by a bass player.
It is mostly used in jazz tunes but also in early Rock'n Roll; the player plays quarter notes, slightly before the beat, so the groove gives the impression of a walk determined to move forward.
"Walking bass" est une expresson musicale qui fait référence à la ligne jouée par un bassiste.
Elle est surtout utilisée en jazz mais aussi aux débuts du Rock'n Roll ; le joueur joue des noires, légèrement avant le temps, de sorte que le groove donne l'impression d'une marche déterminée à avancer.

I had a super shoot on this occasion , a great sky and a reasonable tide too so that I got some nice reflections.
walking along (little egret, Seidenreiher), lucky moment to see one of these birds relatively close...
Following years of macro photography where sharpness, detail, focus stacking and DOF are all important, it's a breath of fresh air to do the opposite, it is quite hard to get an image that half way works however. Just another realisation that whatever genre you choose it can be difficult, thank you for your time.

It was a very early Sunday morning, and I just came off from the nearby fields myself when I saw this man walking towards me from all the way of the horizon. I found the moment of his passing quite eerie and somewhat surreal as well.
Re-imagining that moment made me push the surreal tones and colours further than usual, it just seems to match the memory of my experience better.
