“Waiting Between Worlds” by Zack Hemsey
One of the Black swallowtail caterpillars in our fennel in August. A predator took out half of them in one night ... I moved the rest to safety and to chrysalis - where some hatched and others are overwintering with me. I'm expecting swallowtails on the wing SOON! Stay tuned ...

She puts her hands on either side of his face, and the room falls away. He has never gotten so lost in a kiss before. And then, the space between them explodes. His heart keeps missing beats and his hands cannot bring her close enough to him. He tastes her and realizes he has been starving. He has loved before, but it didn't feel like this. He has kissed before, but it didn't burn him alive. Maybe it lasts a minute, and maybe it's an hour. All he knew is that kiss, and how soft her skin is when it brushes against him, and that even if he did not know it until now, He has been waiting for this person forever.

While I was looking around for insects/bugs this morning I spotted Barney sitting on his driveway waiting for Rick to come home. Shot with the macro lens.

Well, sunrise was another 30 minutes and in that time I can honestly say I’ve never felt the cold as I did on this occasion.
They never came, but I did get this shot! Definitely one I will remember :)

Had to wait a good 30 minutes for the tide to recede enough to get on these set of rocks this morning, got a few others from the beach whilst waiting but just got these in time just as the sun was about to rise.
They had to switch the track to allow the trains coming down the mountain to go past our train.

Back at the end of March, Wally the Walrus first started showing up on the slipway at Tenby Harbour and he has since become something of a regular at the spot. At one point he disappeared, much to locals' disappointment, but he now seems to have made a bed for himself in view of Tenby's North Beach.
