"The beast of Britain"
With the modern crop of hybrid hypercars beginning to emerge from all across the world Winston decided that it was finally time to reveal the fruit of their labors and years of development. The W12 Atomos is a three engined beast capable of speeds greater than 280 mph and is beginning to set the lap records that every hypercar will be compared against on the many circuits it is being tested on.
In typical Winston fashion, beauty is in the details. Winston sought to create a hypercar that visually merges both its historical endeavors and its future ambitions. Designers and engineers worked in close proximity to give the Atomos its distinctive shape and air cutting abilities. One key detail designers worked on was the massive W shaped front facia that was derived from Winston's mid-era F1 cars. The quad exhaust cluster is reminiscent of their first mid-rear engined supercar. The main piece Winston's designers and engineers focused on was the rear engine cover. The functional cover is made to resemble the front intake grille on Winston's earliest models, but on the Atomos it is used to dissipate heat from the massive W12 engine.
The Atomos has three engines, powering the front wheels is an electric motor with an output of up to 300 hp. The rear wheels are brought to life via a second 300 hp electric motor and attached to the rear motor is a massive 6 liter W12 that is both supercharged and quad turbocharged outputting 1,000 hp. Winston's newly minted W block bares noticeable resemblance to the one used in the WR800 as it was used as a starting point for the W12 in the Atomos. When accelerating the electric motors work in tandem to propel the car and provide AWD levels of traction; and as the W12 takes over for the electric motors the Atomos surges to life with the liveliness of a RWD hypercar.
The production of the W12 Atomos will be limited to 500 units. Each will have a deep level of customization and be built to customer's specifications. Winston has yet to reveal a race version of the Atomos and has actively denied the existence of such project, but industry spies report engine sounds that match the W12 used in the Atomos can be heard during dimly lit night sessions at Winston's test circuit.

I saw this sleek W12 Bentley Continental GT in Prague in 2019. It was relatively recent at that time. Although I never shoot luxury cars, I had to make an exception for this one!

This car set 7 world 24-hour speed records at the Nardo Circuit in taly in 2002, a record 7,749.4 kilometres at an average speed of 322.89 km/h.
It was basically a test bed for the W12 engine that would power the Phaeton, the Continental GT and some other exotics.
