Always an inspirational horizon. The lighthouse of Hellevoetsluis, it's location is a famous landmark of Dutch national history in history a 17 century naval base of the Admiralty of the Maze. It is the same pier where the silver fleet of Piet Hein was disembarked in 1629, the journey with Michiel de Ruyter to Chatham began (Raid on the Medway in 1667) and on November 11, 1688, William III and his fleet began their journey to England, to ascend the throne with his wife Mary, and to become King of England, Scotland, and Ireland.
