Sometimes, I think people living in different countries think that Americans are all violent, gun starved violent individuals.
That's not really how I see it. America is large...I mean, really large but geographically and also population wise. So, in any large group of people you are going to have a few people who are mentally ill.
It's true that in the US, many of the services for the mentally ill have been slashed. They just aren't really all that important to either local or federal governments. They'd literally rather see people die. It solves the problem of our depleting resources.
But, it's also true that our government representatives have been largely all bought off by the NRA and. increasingly more we're finding out that NRA was a vehicle to launder money from Russia in the last election. So, we have a President who stole the election who wants Americans to die again. What was that slogan again..was it Make America Die Again? It may have also been Make America White Again. That would also apply.
In any case, most Americans aren't violent hungry individual frothing at the mouth to get their hands on extreme assault artillery. Most Americans just feel out of control by the GOP: Guns Over People party.
This is the same party that, after what recently happened in Parkland, Florida, with yet another school shooting with mass casualties, thought the idea of arming teachers when they don't even have pencils would solve the problem. It won't. Let's not try to just throw guns at the problem. That's just more money in their pockets, though, of course.

After spending most of the week in D.C on business (I returned home Thursday night) and experiencing the snow storm on Wednesday, I decided to drive back on Saturday to participate in the March For Our Lives rally.
First off, notice all the snow is gone.
Second, I have never seen so many people in one place (I saw a shot from space and the estimate was at 800,000 people) and so many porta-johns (but I digress). The passion in these students restored my belief that maybe, just maybe we can return our Gov't back to the people and out of the hands of the special interest groups (read that as NRA). Time will tell...
Some of these pics and a few others will get posted so you can read the small print. anyone care to guess what I've been working on today.

After almost two years of careful observation of the government in operation, studying the many appearances of all of the political talking heads, both Democrat and Republican, and after listening to the President with much attention almost every day, I have reached a solitary conclusion. I have arrived at an opinion that I have not shared with anyone, but I can now see the agenda of the current administration very clearly. But it is not just the democratic administration that is involved in my opinion, there are a certain number of Republicans that are aligned with this agenda for America's future.
When I heard President Obama contradict previous statements he had made about Healthcare being option and not a tax, I realized that my opinion about the agenda is correct. There is a definite agenda here. One's President does not contradict himself with a smile without something going on in his mind that is an agenda. Is it a Socialist agenda? This will be the question each American who believes in democracy must ask: DO YOU WANT A DEMOCRACY OR A SOCIALIST NATION?
This is the question each American must ask in November of 2010 and most assuredly in November of 2012. The Wild Mouse photo represents the confusion that is being created on purpose and that purpose is to dishearten Americans, depress Americans and cause them to become so disheartened at the state of affairs that all will turn off the televison and stop listening to the radio talk show personalities.

WHAT IF CONGRESS LIES TO AMERICA: CAN WE PUT THEM ON TRIAL?
Baseball great, Roger Clements is going to be tried for lying to Congress about taking steroids. This seems like a very important issue at this time in history. It will surely take up more space on the blogs and in the few newspapers there are left, but the question should be: Can We Prosecute Congress for Lying to Americans?

We are so glad the CAPand TRADE bill passed 'cause we won't have to worry no more. As long as the sun shines, who gives a bison's behind about skyrocketing utility bills or those coal miners with big families. We know WHO butters our bread and we don't mind if we become a third world nation neither. Like It's about time we learned our lesson about freedom burdening the world with all those difficult heavy duty decisions being so great. Like all our industry has been so polluting. Do you follow me? Now if we can get the Senate to send it to Mr O's desk for the final defeat of free enterprise, we will be set for...? Who knows, maybe a massive depression and record unemployment. But at least we can all join hands and dance around the May pole without getting all chocked up with all that coal dust that is darkening the sunshine so much our pansies wont grow. Does anybody know that song, We Are The World? Why don't we just join hands and sing? We have already put Hummers and those awful big symbols of Western prosperity out of business. Now if we can get everybody to junk their SUV and ugly old Ram trucks and those awful imposing big F-150s, we will be so happy and gay, gleeful, really. "We are the world, oh yeow, (or is it yea') Who remembers Tiny Tim song "tip-toeing through the tulips?"

This sign caught my eye (naturally). It would work well under a black light, as would many of the other signs I've seen in the past year. This is still at the intersection of Broadway and 5th Street in downtown L.A. And we were also a long ways off from marching.
