This is a view looking out from the edge of the Vortex by Richard Serra, a 67 foot tall 230 TON sculpture in The Modern museum in Fort Worth.
This hand-made marble is about 1.75" wide. It was purchased in Monterrey, California. This is the bottom. On top of the vortex (the point of which is in the center) there sits a little air bubble. It is really quite an interesting piece of glass.

This is the Vortex to hell eyes swirling downward into the great Vortex fire balls come by the other way, down down down they go, the souls of the damned they are composed of eyes and such
These energy vortexes are found at a very few areas of this world. I am happy to have found another location with a vortex. It is amazing how trees react to these vortexes. This tree, for example, is twisted as the energy exuded around it. Not 10 feet away, trees grow straight as would be expected elsewhere on Earth.

RAW 12/52 The newest ring that I made using a Boro Cabochon with a fantastic Vortex Design made by a local artist. Not quite adept at working with Boro on the Lampwork Torch. I was going to finish the bezel but just loved the way this looked but who knows, it might change. Ring is Sterling Silver with a Cup Base that holds the Cab.
