Parked up in Buchanan Bus Station is West Coast Motors Plaxton Elite bodied Volvo B8R 12107 - W100WCM. One of two new in 2022 which came from a cancelled 2021 order for ten Plaxtons for Logans of Dunloy. The other eight have joined the Parks of Hamilton fleet.

Country Lion Volvo B8R Plaxton Panther BU11 JSF in Sidmouth, 29th September, 2021, new in 2016 and believed to be their former G1 CLN.
Seen at the depot of Shiel Buses in Fort William is Plaxton Panther 3 cub bodied Volvo B8R HSK735. New as YX71LTV and was one of four ordered and subsequently cancelled by Logan of Dunloy. The other three were snapped up by Park's of Hamilton.
The year 2021 saw many changes in the make up of the Sanders fleet, including no less than seven brand new vehicles entering service. The first to arrive back in May 2021 was Plaxton bodied Volvo B8R type number 924 - OC21 SAN “OLIVER” which was the last of the new vehicles to appear in front of my camera when captured in the yard of Sanders Hempstead Road premises at Holt on 23rd December of that year. By coincidence, in the above shot we see it on yet another dismal December morning, but almost exactly twelve months later. Following recent ice skating related accidental damage repairs, can you spot the subtle difference to the front?

Safeguard's second Volvo/MCV entered service on Saturday 29th October, and I caught it today (31st), the second attempt winning as far as the sun is concerned!

Back on a very dismal 23rd December 2021 I took an offside shot of Sanders Plaxton bodied Volvo B8R type number 924 - OC21 SAN “Oliver” parked up in the yard of their Hempstead Road Depot at Holt and here, on yet another dull North Norfolk day, we have a nearside view taken at the same location.

Volvo B8R ET70 TOM is one of three Plaxton Leopards in the Edward Thomas & Son fleet and is seen in Dorking on 2nd November, 2022.
In this shot, taken on a lovely sunny March morning while waiting for my bus to Holt, Sanders MCV Evora bodied Volvo B8RLE type number 521 - BV21 OOD “Norfolk Discoverer” is captured as it runs “out of service” along Runton Road in Cromer. In the background beyond the cliff edge we can just make out an unusually blue North Sea.
Having previously worked school day only services 79 - Gresham to Cromer Academy High School and 65 - West Runton to Sheringham Primary School, 521 has taken a break before running light to Cromer. It will then operate the 1020hrs Coasthopper service CH1 journey from there through to Wells-next-the-Sea.
