It's been a while since I posted a birdie photo, to be honest I've not been able to do birds very easily with having 12 stitches in my right eye since I had my op at the beginning of December. I still have six stitches in there but I can at least get a reasonable shot now if the bird sits still long enough - and Robin's generally do! This one was taken in Ilam Country Park - in sub zero cold!
There's a double meaning in the title here; for one thing, this Robin seems to be posing like a Vogue magazine model! Also, more importantly, the Robin is currently in vogue with the British public because this humble little bird was recently voted Britain's National bird after a high profile campaign and a poll of 200,000 people.

The 'Vogue Theatre' is located at 918 Granville Street in the heart of downtown Vancouver, BC Canada.
This landmark, Art Deco-Art Moderne styled building, along with its well recognized neon sign remains one of the most defining architectural buildings in Vancouver.
Originally built as a movie house and a venue for the performing arts situated on Vancouver's 'Theatre Row".
Designed by architects, Kaplan and Sprachman. The construction began in 1940 and was completed and opened in 1941.
The Vogue has hosted events such as Vancouver’s ComedyFest, Vancouver International Film Festival and Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
It was operated by Canadian Odeon Theatres, later Cineplex Odeon up until its closure in 1987.
