I'm taking black and white film photography and darkroom lab.

After much agonizing, I chose the Canon Elan 7E, with "Eye Control". It's true! The camera can actually choice the focus point by determining what direction your pupil is pointing.

The camera is an EOS film camera fully capable of most modern features that DSLR's have, and has a shutter speed max of 1/4000th. It can shoot 4.6 frames per second. It has a built in flash.

Don't hate on me. I am used to AF and Exposure Bracketing and other convenient features. That's just me. I could have chosen something old. I have a Mamiya - Sekor 500 TL with an M42 mount. It's sweet! But I am trying to learn film processing as the higher priority, so my photo taking, well, the easier the better. Though I have a couple awesome M42 preset lenses! I'll get there. But a maximum shutter speed of 1/500th really is not suitable for me now.

It's fun to see photography from the perspective of shooting film and to here people discussing photography for hours on end!

I've started in the dark room, soon there will be proofs!
