Industrial Design is a blend of art, technique and sociology. In association with ISD France, DSK ISD, offers 3 main Industrial Design specialties that are Transportation Design, Product Design and Digital Design. ISD France is an International Design School which has been training the elite of Industrial Designers for 22 years. It is internationally recognized and has trained more than 600 students that are now professional designers in the best companies and design studios worldwide. Today the school has brought to India its experience and international network in the industry.

 

For the first time ever, SIGGRAPH is taking place outside of the US – right here in Vancouver! VFS was ready to celebrate with free cupcakes courtesy of Cupcakes by Heather & Lori. The morning sweets were inspired by 3D Animation & Visual Effects grad Karem Yamin’s modeling reel "The Sweetest Thing". You can see her amazing work displayed across the Cambie Street bridge in Vancouver throughout August.

Hello friends, I've been quite busy over the last few weeks for a good reason. We celebrated Pixelloid's 3rd anniversary on the night of 19th Aug at Zouk. And, now I have my marriage coming up on 24th aug '08. :D

DSK Supinfogame is the first videogame design school in India. The video gaming institute provides a Game Designing course of a total duration of 4 years which includes all the creative techniques used to make up the game - game mechanisms, rules, emotions sought, interactivity, game play. These training courses encompass all the factors that are essential in the video game industry including production management. During the course the students get to understand the importance of the technical aspects and organizational process. They work on many different small production projects and learn how to become creative and how to imagine new concepts for the next generation of games and gamers. Students learn the basics of what a game is, learn to create their own board games, new card games and any kind of classic games. Students are trained to master, invent and produce any genre of game related to the digital environment including online, mobile, console etc.

Tucktonia was a large British model 'village' with a difference - landmarks from around the UK were depicted in miniature. The London landmarks formed a backdrop to some of the miniature shots in the Tobe Hooper epic Lifeforce (1985). The vfx crew, led by John 'Star Wars' Dykstra, dressed up the Tucktonia streets with their own destructible miniatures.

Use the wheel of the mouse to move the image up down, and it fixes the look in center of the branch. You will see the apparent movement of the leaves.
