It was matured only in old French Oak Casks and is a big full bodied wine showing rich ripe fruit character, deep colour and a firm well balanced acid and tannin finish. It shows distinctive earthy Hunter character on the nose and a comparatively high alcohol level. I believe this to be a great wine that will mature into a soft old Hunter style and will require long cellar ageing."
