After the Ganson's car show in Jackson on August 30, we went to the nearby Parlour for evening ice cream. The Parlour has been a renowned Jackson destination since 1944.

In Reflections of Becoming, the line between self and shadow, evolution and illusion, dissolves. What we see on the surface a serene pond, elegant swans is a dream’s skin. Beneath it, memory and mythology are folding into one another.

The swans, mirrored in the water, become elephants with angelic wings. Their trunks swirl into serpentine dancers. Above them, the clouds mimic their forms, suggesting that even the sky remembers who we once were.

This is not a landscape. It’s a transformation chamber. Every element in this work explores duality animal and divine, above and below, innocence and power. The piece is a quiet scream about lineage, reincarnation, and what it means to carry the shape of something ancient within a body that appears gentle.

This is also a love poem—to nature, to the surrealist impulse, to the way reflection betrays and reveals at once.

The Path of Echoes explores the space between memory and myth. This forest is not a place, but a pulse formed from half-remembered dreams, half-invented stories. The giant mushrooms stand as sentinels, not just of nature but of narrative. Each glowing light marks a decision once made. Each curve of the path is a choice you may or may not remember making.

At the center of it all is the lone figure. Not a guide, but a reflection. A reminder that sometimes the most important journeys are the ones we’re not sure we started. This piece is about wonder, disorientation, and the ancient promise of the unknown.

Codex of the Veiled Star is a meditation on the lost language of power. It explores the liminal space between knowledge and belief, symbol and sorcery. The hooded figure stands not as a conjurer, but as a translator one who has learned to speak in circles, sigils, and golden ratios.

The illuminated glyphs are fictional yet feel legible like the forgotten blueprint of a divine machine. The architecture around the figure suggests both sanctuary and imprisonment. I want the viewer to question: is the figure unlocking the space, or being contained by it?

This work is part of my broader Thresholds series, which merges sacred geometry, cloaked identities, and imagined histories through a visual language of ambient mythology.

I envisioned a once-holy place, now overtaken by creeping black roots and faceless human forms — beings neither alive nor dead, struggling upward on a staircase flooded with unnatural light. The vines are not just growths but memories, regrets, griefs — binding and birthing all at once.

The architecture is inspired by old European cathedrals — sanctuaries that once symbolized purity and salvation. But here, they are reclaimed by a darkness that is not evil, but inevitable. The figures do not escape their entanglement; they become part of it. This is not a fall from grace. It is a climb toward a new, feral grace — one forged in pain, shadow, and transformation.
