full circle.
i began my visual journals not exactly a year ago today, but on the first snowfall of the year . this year's first snow fall was not nearly as dramatic, however, it was bloody cold. heidi had the right idea with mittens. i braved the blustery fields with naked hands and my trusty sony held high.
it's been a good year, all things considered.
and i'm damned ready for the snow.
no, i don't care for winter driving...one of the main reasons i chose to be a writer, in fact...so i could work at home and to hell with the weather.
no, i don't care for shovelling, although the initial novelty is always a delight.
no, i'm not much into the whole christmas thing, although our new tradition of hunting down our own tree is something i look forward to.
and sure, hiking in the fall is certainly easier on the extremeties and calls for far less cumbersome clothing, however, i'm getting pretty damned sick and tired of bathing the dogs after every hike. so in that regard, winter is good. winter is clean. winter is fresh. and i'm ready for winter.
come on winter!

I met her today at downtown, as I walked around with Mario, there was a bunch of people around her and her friend, asking things and stuff; I approached them and asked what was going on, as her friend answered me she just nodded and continued with the so called interview, when everything was over I asked her for a shot as well, she agreed, took a pair of shots (the weather is kinda ugly nowadays, a lot of rain and clouds) somewhat she smiled in the second shot haha, maybe it was because my friend's broken english lol
