I spent the weekend visiting with my family, it was wonderful and I miss seeing them all. Tony and Steph put us up for the weekend and we had a lot of fun together too.
Im Sommer wurden beim Nachbarn drei Kätzchen geboren. Die drei statteten uns dann Ende August einen Besuch ab. Leider wurden zwei davon im Herbst von Autos getötet :-(
In summer three kitties were born at our neigbor. End of August the three were visiting us. Sadly two of them were killed by cars in autumn :-(

Dean Ceccio and Director Liu welcomed U-M Regent Sarah Hubbard, along with Provost Laurie McCauley and Secretary of the University Sally Churchill and others to Mcity to showcase research projects related to future mobility-challenges and solutions, including mitigation of motion sickness and fear of the unknown in autonomous vehicles, as well as wheelchair accessibility in AVs. There was also an opportunity to look at the work of Associate Department Chair for Research in Civil and Environmental Engineering Branko Kerkez and PhD student Travis Dantzer as they work to create “smart” stormwater systems in a detention pond at the Mcity Test Facility.

I was in Hastings to support our Labour candidates. I also visited a local homeless charity, Surviving the Streets. (2nd December, 2019)
In the fifth richest country in the world no one should be sleeping rough.
Labour will end rough sleeping and tackle homelessness because we see a decent home as a right owed to all, not a privilege for the few.
