While out visiting family on the weekend, this branch provided a great perch for various visitors from this RWB, Rose breasted grosbeaks, gold finches and a nuthatch...good birding from a reclining lawn chair with a few gin and tonics to sip on :) I did get to see an unlikely Scarlet Tanager in our own backyard on Monday as well..that was special!

In the British Virgin Islands, one of the more popular attractions on Virgin Gorda is the natural stretch of beach known as The Baths. Huge boulders, haphazardly hurled to their resting places by a prehistoric volcano, form caves, pools and grottoes that give the beach its spectacular beauty. Though challenging to squeeze through in places, the trail leading between the beaches is well worth the 20-minute walk, crawl and climb. (A nearby protected area, in fact, is called Crawl National Park.)

i met my birthmother (i was adopted through an open adoption at birth) for the first time last april. up in her hometown of chico for my family's thanksgiving, i connected with her for another visit. this time i met my three half-siblings: melody, mori, and christian; along with tracey's husband bill and stepson james.

Visiting Elora, Ontario to see the gorge, this playground is at the entrance to the park overlooking the gorge.
Elora is a small town in Wellington County with lots of quaint shops. Very touristy. A fun place to visit.
