It was a tussle to get a photo of "Aquarium". This is the best shot and I should have used a flash.For this playful installation, artists Benedetto Bufalino and Benoit Deseille transform the famous telephone box by turning it into an aquarium full of exotic fish. By doing so, the French duo invite us to dream of travel and escape from our everyday lives.

Looking north from the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich, Canary Wharf's high-rise lights set an unusual tone to the old Grecian columns and atmosphere of this historical site.

"The Old Royal Naval College grew up on the site of the Tudor Palace in Greenwich, where Henry VIII and Elizabeth I were born.
"William and Mary commissioned Sir Christopher Wren to design the present buildings in 1695 to house naval pensioners, and these became the Royal Naval College in 1873.
"The Painted Hall, decorated by Sir James Thornhill, and the Chapel are especially worth visiting as are the beautiful grounds.
"The Greenwich Foundation took over the administration of the site when the Royal Navy left the site in 1998.
"The Old Royal Naval College won Visitor Attraction of the Year at the London Tourism Awards 2020."

Silhoutte, Sunset and the long exposure to get the steady moving clouds.. When Nature gives u sooo many super colours , who needs a photo editing software.
Clicked at Greenwich. Used a SRB ND Filter for the Long Exposure.
In a recent visit to the sky gardens I was able to capture this pano through the glass on the terrace.
Atmospheric Clouds adorning the skyline over London England, Tower Bridge can be seen in the background along with some river boats too.

Another shot on my hit list. In my mind Battersea Powerstation is complete and the sun is setting. Not today it isn't. I'll have to try again in around 14 months time!
I came across these sculptures by accident during a walk along the Thames to Greenwich, unforntunately they are only there for September according to the press. I was lucky to see them in the first fee weeks of Octonber (2015). The plan is to go back to do some long exposures - hopefully they'll extend the time.
Another one from the same evening as the last uploaded photo..But this was clicked after the sky turned Red/Pink in London. As it was a bit of long exposure , the moment of the boat on River Thames completes the Click.
