The new subway line (circle line) has some amazing stations.
It is all quite different from the photos I've been posting from Sporvejsmuseet Skjoldenæsholm.
Look at this!

You can see this cargo bike all over Copenhagen. It is wonderful to see them with children.
A few words about this cargo bike. It is made by the danish Christiania Bikes. They have produced bicycle trailers since 1978 and cargo bikes since 1984. They are located on the countryside in green surroundings on Bornholm.
The production facility consists of modern machineries and facilities as well as a developed IT-infrastructure. Not only are products from Christiania Bikes environmentally friendly, the mindset of the production is also highly focused on being that.
No wonder you can find this bike on every street corner in Copenhagen!

The wonderful Sporvejsmuseet Skjoldenæsholm has turned in to my family's little wonderland as both my kids love trams! It is an absolutely fantastic experience for both young and old.
The museum is idyllically located by the manor Skjoldenæsholm in Midtsjælland, and one is taken in from the parking lot by tram to the museum.
The museum has approx. 140 trams and buses, where approx. 30 trams and 15 buses are approved for driving with passengers. This tram is driving on tracks that were built on part of the Sjællandske Midtbane, which was closed down in 1936.

Crossing the canal from Nordre Toldbod to Refshaleøen. The canal was very busy.
This was the start of a day over at Refshaleøen and Copenhill, and a very sunny day with a record high temperature. I'm almost longing for autumn now...
This photo got published on Explore September 13, 2021.
A very different way of living. But perhaps something more of us will do in the future?
Student homes on the sea in Copenhagen next to Refshaleøen pier. 12 apartments per Urban Rigger, and a total of 72 apartments.
On the ground floor there are three apartments that are 30m2 each, and could also be suited for a couple. The apartments have a bedroom in one end and a kitchen and a private balcony directly above the water in the other end.
On the first floor there are 9 apartments that are 23m2 each. The apartments appear very spacious and have a brilliant view of the neighborhood and/or the water through the large windows. All apartments also have a kitchen and a bathroom.
There is a courtyard in the middle with bike racks, direct access to the water, and room for kayaks and BBQ’s.
There is a roof top terrace with a beautiful sea view.
The basement contains a fully automated laundry room, individual storage rooms for each apartment, as well as a large community room with a kitchen where the residents can prepare meals for themselves and visitors.
Brumleby is with its 221 homes a very popular place to live in Copenhagen, and the wait to get a home shows that. It is very long (+20 years).

I visited this beautiful beach and lighthouse on a stormy morning with my youngest son and we left it in almost sunshine, and I had the opportunity to take some photos. Thank you Flickr for giving me tips about these two iconic lighthouses.
Bellevue Beach is a is a 700-metre-long sandy beach at Klampenborg on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
The iconic lighthouse or lighthouses, cause there is two of them, have quite a history. In the 1930s, when the right to vacation became legally mandated, Denmark's coastline became the country's most popular holiday destination. Gentofte Municipality made plans to develop a piece of coastline north of Copenhagen into a seaside resort complex combining an existing park designed by the landscape architect C.Th. Sørensen with beach facilities catering to some 15,000 paying visitors a day. Three architects were invited to submit plans for a Bellevue beach complex. The winner was the young architect Arne Jacobsen, who had just opened his office. Characteristic of his approach to architecture and design—he was preoccupied with the concept of Gesamtkunst—Jacobsen designed everything from bathing cabins, lifeguard towers and kiosks to tickets and uniforms for the staff. The complex also included the Bellavista apartment buildings (1934), a restaurant and the Bellevue Theatre (1936), all of which still stand today in the immediate vicinity of the beach.
The beach with the lighthouses opened in 1932.
Copenhagen, Denmark
A perfect place to explores architecture, urban development and design and Danes are famous for those things :-).
Our boat tour on the waterways of Copenhagen also took us to this magnificent building, which we later visited.

A highlight from our holiday in Denmark this summer. Camp Adventure was a fantastic place that I am sure we are gonna revisit!
And the best, was Skovtårnet (Forest Tower).
Camp Adventure is close to Gisselfeld Monastery, located in one of Gisselfeld's main farms, Brødebækgaard, which until the 1960s functioned as a larger mill farm.
Today, Camp Adventure is a place for different and unique nature experiences. With Denmark's largest climbing park, the beautiful boardwalk that runs deep into the forest and the newly built architectural observation tower of 45 meters, the people at Camp Adventure warmly welcome all age groups. Camp Adventure was just the perfect place for me, my wife and our two young sons.
What elegance and what a place for the Queen of Denmark - and this is only one of many castles to the Queens disposal. Incredible this Kingdoms still living in countries like Denmark and Norway.
What a super class paid mainly by the peoples taxes....
But of course we Norwegians know very well our Danish friends after being ruled by them for some 400 years until our own handling of the land started in 1814. then in a form of coop with the Swedish before we first in 1905 was "free" from our Scandinavian friends
- but of course where to find our new king if not in Denmark where their Price Karl become our first king in modern times as King Haakon 7.
The photo is made of a 2 photo stitch.
More of the Fredensborg Castle from the net:
At the end of the Great Northern War King Frederick IV asked architect Johan Cornelius Krieger, royal gardener to the court at Rosenborg Castle, to build him a small pleasure palace on the site of a farmyard named Østrup. Krieger built the French-inspired baroque palace 1720–1726, and the King himself took an active part in the planning of the building and grounds, and followed construction closely. The man responsible for the actual construction was General Building Master Johan Conrad Ernst, who was also responsible for the construction of Frederiksberg Palace.
While the building was still under construction Denmark–Norway and Sweden negotiated a peace treaty, which was signed July 3, 1720 on the site of the unfinished palace The treaty determined the fate of Skåne, which since that time has been a part of Sweden, and ended Denmark’s eleven-year participation in the Great Northern War. To commemorate the signing of the peace accord the palace was named Fredens Borg (lit. "Peace's Castle").
Another architectural highlight in Copenhagen was the extraordinary Tietjen student residence, where we visited my nephew.
With such well thought-out and beautiful architecture, I would love to be a student again, this time in Copenhagen :-).

"The source of inspiration for the new Students' Residence in Copenhagen were the traditional Tulou houses in Southeastern China - village communities with individual dwellings and communal facilities. The architects were determined to make space for communal as well as private life in the building."
