Lisa is a girl from Russia who, from early childhood, suffered from visual impairment. Continuous treatment and several operations gave her the opportunity to see the world and begin to study it - today Lisa is studying the behavior of algae in various environments, this is part of the space exploration program. Perhaps Lisa will become a great scientist, which would be extremely difficult for her without the operations that gave her the opportunity to love the world of tiny parts of nature.

Caption: This photo is part of two others - it was taken in November 2018 off ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ Road in Livingston (Zambia). Its a street vender who approached me for help after introducing ‘Visual Eyes Afrika-international (VEA-i)’ to him and his fellow venders. Although one can clearly see ‘ pinguecula‘ - one can also clearly see the silhouette of buildings in the eyes.
