Starting with an online image of a man holding up a passport with visa stamps from some travels in Asia, I cut and straightened just the visa page, made layers, adjusted color and transparency, duplicated and rotated, made a layer in polar coordinates and kaleidoscoped it, etc. An exercise in altering what we perceive. See the next three images for a bit more of the process.

Definitely my best ever spot in my hometown, although I can't claim credit for finding it: I was alerted to its presence by a forum post, worked out where it is and went for a look. It is currently listed on eBay and looks a little scruffy but very sound given the Visa's reputation for rusting so I hope it finds a good home - unfortunately I am not in a position to buy it myself.

i have made the decision to put her down on Monday before her health declines any further. she is deaf, blind and can only take a few steps without collapsing. in hindsight, i should've made this decision one or two weeks ago, but i wasn't ready to let go until she started slipping away so rapidly over the last two days.
i was 20 when i got her...sixteen years ago. she helped me grow from a babysitter, to an after-school care teacher, to a child abuse caseworker, to a prosecutor.
she has been rappelling, shopping, taken college classes, and put in more road trip hours than most humans.
she helped me through breakups and break downs - soaking up my tears with her silver coat and sharing french fries, pizza and ice cream. she danced everytime i came home like it was prom night.
my heart is full from the love that she gave and I am beyond grateful for the time that i had with her. i can see her beautiful, black, almond eyes looking at me and beaming love in my direction when i close mine. she is irreplaceable and may be the last dog i own - at least for a very, very long time.
i already miss her.

The nearside front wing is the worst part of the car, having apparently been crudely repaired after a tyre blow-out, but according to the eBay listing the seller has a new wing that will be included with the car. The Visa certainly had a wide range of engine sizes: the 1.8-litre XUD diesel in this one is almost three times the capacity of the 652cc flat-twin 2CV unit fitted to the Special model.
