4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County. Emphasis is on science, agricultural literacy, healthy living, career development and citizenship/leadership. Many of the projects made during the sessions are eligible to be exhibited at the Lancaster County Super Fair in July.
2021 Clover College featured 48 workshops with 93 youth who participated (varying from 1 to 15 classes each) with a total 627 class registrations. New workshops this year included: “Virtual Reality Building,” “All About DNA,” “Decorative Couching (sewing technique),” “Steak Science,” “On the Bike Path (bicycle safety),” “Derby Cars,” “Pop Can Casting (fishing know-how),” “Loom Weaving,” and “Care Blankets.”
In Lancaster County, the 4-H youth development program is a partnership between Nebraska Extension and the Lancaster County government. Learn more about Lancaster County 4-H at lancaster.unl.edu/4h.

Virtual Architecture 101 is an interactive, self guided educational project that teaches visitors about architectural fundamentals, design processes, strategies and best practices for creating effective virtual world projects. The installation also includes several case studies of education-related projects, and offers specific tips, tricks and techniques drawn from over 5 years of experience designing virtual environments. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive resource, but to simply provide a sample overview of design basics.

The world’s water supply is finite, while its population is ever-growing. Finding better ways to protect and manage this limited resource is a constant challenge. On the consumer level, there has been an increased awareness of ways to reduce water use at home.

Second Life graduation held in parallel with McEwan Hall graduation. 4 MSc graduates graduated in Second Life with 8 graduating at McEwan Hall. The live feed from McEwan Hall was streamed in to Second Life.
18 Guests in total attended the ceremony in Second Life - university staff, current students and visitors from other universities.
