Virtual Orientation for the new section Senior K, was successfully conducted through Zoom. The parents were made aware of the rules and regulations of the school, the syllabus was discussed and above all, steps were explained how to attend virtual classes. Our honourable principal Bhavna Ma'am cleared the doubts and successfully addressed the queries of the parents. The meeting ended on a positive note when all the parents were satisfied and happy to cooperate.

"The student humans have been back on campus for two weeks. They were talking about virtual classes before, but now they're talking about classes starting to meet in person tomorrow.
Most students are being good about social distancing and wearing masks. Sadly, some come out at night and stand too close too each other or don't wear masks in groups out here on McKeldin Mall. I hope they can all stay safe.

During this session, mothers were informed about the syllabus till June. They were briefed about the methodologies adopted by the teachers to teach new concepts to students, adhering strictly to the guidelines given by NCERT. Special tips were shared and discussed to make effective learning possible for kids during the virtual classes. This session between the mothers and teachers helped to clarify all the doubts, looking forward for a better preschool experience for all our children. It is rightly said that, 'Connecting home and school, makes us a great community of learners.'

Biography: I began my teaching journey in 2015 working at DeSoto East Middle School teaching 6th through 8th grade Science. I have taught in our STEM academy, introducing students to real-world problems and 21st century skills. In addition to serving as a model science instructor, I have also worked with the DeSoto ISD Science Department where I have served for two years as a secondary curriculum writer. I have my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction concentrating in 4-8th Science. Nelson Mandela said it best, Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
