Carnival Oasis Isle is no longer upkept by the previous villagers. The magic folk were of two minds, to keep it in it's dying glory, or wrecking ball it to the ground. With magical spirits existing on the isle, and surrounding spirits, they decided to leave it as it is.....

The other day I was talking to my dear friend Sammie about gardening and her wonderful garden that often gets the visits of foxes, which I absolutely love. I am a disaster with flowers and plants, sadly, so if my cat, Snow, does not get to them first, I end up either drowning them in too much water or forgetting to water them for too long. Thankfully, in SL, I get to have beautiful flowers and plants, and trees and amazing gardens, thanks to the talent of our creators.

I have always been in love with light.
It magically can make the same picture look happy, dull, somber or electric. When PBR got to SL the possibilities became endless to me, but I did panic though. My laptop was in no way enduring Firestorm so I had to switch to Alchemy, saying goodbye to some of my preferred features like area search.
But, gosh, did I get so much more in return! Just take a second (or two!) to look at Salt's work of art on latex, Cat. The way the light falls on the flawless PBR textures of the overall, mask, boots, bento tail, gloves and claws is just insanely beautiful.
I dare you: take some time to play with PBR. No need to do something fancy. Just a nice PBR texture around you, add a reflection probe (or three!) and move them around you. Test some windlights for your environment too, they can totally change the game - every purchase from Salt & Pepper now includes 3 free neutral PBR windlight/ eep.

Yesterday was one of the happiest days in my SL life. A very emotional one, as it marked the opening of the Stand for Palestine event, where the SL community comes together to support Palestinian families and 100% of the proceeds of the event will be donated to UNRWA - the United Nations Relief and Works Agency which is mandated by the UN General Assembly to serve Palestine refugees.
To see so many there, attending the event, shopping, so many contributors to the event, creators, performers, artists, really warmed my heart.
This is a month-long fundraiser and includes live performances every Saturday at 2PM SLT. You can find vendors, auctions, and Community all in one powerful space.
In this shot, I am wearing the lovely UNA's Milena Palestine A dress (there is another gorgeous pattern for sale at the event) and also Eloise Baker's Palestinian Keffiyeh. The beautiful Art behind me is called "Silent Prayer" by [ HELLO MIKA] and is also available at the event, together with dozens of other beautiful creations by our SL Talents.
I am also wearing one of the most beautiful Glam Affair skins I have seen recently. Jasmina is serene and strong, absolutely stunning and I urge everyone to go get it at the event!

I was chatting about Aurelia earlier today in Salt & Pepper group chat and the truth is, I am still mesmerized by the exquisite embroidery work that Salt did with this new release.
I cammed really close to admire the stitches on the fabric and lining, and I can't even begin to imagine the skills you need to make this work flawlessly on a see through gown like this one. Oh, and did I mention that you get BOTH a short dress and a gown with this purchase?
I've always been fascinated with embroidery. Just like life itself, sometimes you pull the thread through believing it belongs there, even when the image isn't clear yet in your mind. And that goes for any life, in any world.
