What Hack and wolfie did defies speech and that is all that there is to it.
The two constructs are intertwined to such an extent that it is really hard to even understand where one ends and the other begins. And yet they have retained their individuality, their identity. And the utter grace of the swirling motion with which they rise and how that grace is coupled with such strength and force... My God!
I just stood there gobsmacked.
I have to say that I am a bit upset about how these turned out: Earlier this evening I was taking some screenshots for a very good friend of mine who will be joining SL, so as I was taking the shots I also included the interface items in the photo setup list. And, sadly forgot to turn them back off before I took these.
So, I had to crop them so that I got rid of the palettes I had floating all over the place and quite frankly out name tags we could probably also have done without.
So, we will have to repeat this little excursion and reshoot properly wolfiekiens...
Otherwise, as I already told you in-world: What an absolute stunner this is!!!
I am beyond proud of what my colleague MosMax Hax (aka. Max Moswitzer) achieved here...
Really nothing much to say, the photos will say it all and then some.
This is actually one of the very few things that I made in SL with an artistic objective in mind. They were originally displayed at the Nettuno University museum. I like them, so I rezzed them onto a platform here.
I am a war photographer, for God's sakes... I need to be exactly dead center of where the action is!
The crawler avatar is a pretty remarkable thing in itself. Here I have re-assembled the bits around Alpha, together with Vry Offcourse's Bronze Forge skin. I made some transparency changes to the avatar parts so that the human part can merge better with the mechanoid part. I will probably be re-assembling this avatar as a sculpture at Syncretia - I like it so much.
Again, lots of very similar shots here too.

The 3rd Church was founded in 2007 by Hardwarehacker Hoch and MosMax is a true believer. In fact his religious zeal caused him to build a chapel on Klein for his daily worship needs and where he also kept a chicken for undoubtedly deep and meaningful ritual purposes... (hh)
He has built a huge place of worship at the island of Die Angewandte. I go from time to time to check on progress and to take photographs - in Windlight....
The installation bringing together the Real and Second Lives of MosMax Hax/Max Moswitzer can be seen at Uqbar until February 9th.

(Note: There is a trick to getting inside the studio... ;-)

When I log in and find that the gang is at a performance art event at Odyssey to which Hack teleports me.

It seems that one needs something to go between the camera and the avatar to achieve a sense of depth. So, I added some disks that wrap around me.
Light is another big worry. Spotlighting certain areas to achieve focus that is... I am not sure whether this can be completely resolved in-world or whether one really needs to attack the image in photoshop with the old levels.
Tomorrow I will try some more complex stuff. For now, this gives me an idea as to what I need to do next.
open mic poetry at the virtual environment, open air
