See this little trip was my last job with ‘A Fresh Look Design’ it was set up by the office assistant Jon. I think Jon has had it out for me since we both started with them as underpaid inters. I took the last decorator position with the company . Jon is a lot of things but good assistant isn’t one. Of course I’m have to FaceTime him while I think on if I will be getting in this cab or not.
“What do you mean all flights canceled? I need a flight back home today Jon!”
“Well Joule I-“
“Don’t Joule me you said 3 days max! My kids return back to school tomorrow Jon!”
“Look Joule I just can’t make anything happen. You will just have to stay until we figure something out. “ he said with a smirk
“When I get back to California you are so fired Jon and I mean that!” I said back stern and I cut my eyes at him. His smirk disappeared.
“Fine I’ll see if another card can be used to buy you another ticket.”
While he was talking I went ahead and book a one way flight first class. I wasn’t playing with Jon.
“You know what Jon I’ll have a receipt for you Monday evening so I can be reimbursed back Goodbye.”
I hung up Jon was playing the long game with me. Like I said this is my last job with this company. They been good to me, but it time for my step on on my own. I think it’s time for a change something new something different. Let’s just hope I make it back before 7am
