I provide virtual reference on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in Second Life. I loved this pic because I was dressed in my Victorian best and thought the horned devil made a nice photogenic complement. Turned out to be a faculty member from another state. Always cool to meet new people I'd never run into otherwise.

Through a picture, you can certainly understand many things, thoughts or opinions. That‘s exactly tried to express the initiator of this picture, in order to emphasize, particularly in the area of , how dramatically the general situation has changed.
On the left side of the photo, we can see clearly how can be configured the circle of human relations in offline level, where contacts and relationships are based on face to face contact and the traditional communication methods like phone calls, letters etc. These type of relationships, are based on real acquaintance between people rather than a fictitious contact. On the other hand, in the right side of the photo we can see the form human relations have taken last decades, in a virtual level, where there does not need to know someone closely or to have personal contact-friendship.
All you need is to be friends with someone at one of the popular social media that have flooded cyberspace. The complexity of this type of relationships is great and despite the fact that we don’t need a face to face contact is very demanding and has to be updated continuously.
