COVID numbers are continuing to rise around the world. So many people are in lockdown and not able to get out, many have been sick and have had loved ones die, and so many, including me, who haven't been able to hug their families since the beginning of this pandemic. And we have no idea when the end is in sight, or if things will ever get back to "normal."
When I saw this little vine wrapped around a post in a nearby garden, I thought of how much all of us need a hug right about now. So I'm sending out a virtual hug to all of you.

17th International Architecture Exhibition of the Biennale di Venezia 2021 in the Giardini della Biennale (Castello)
A disappointing, because copied into the cloud, virtual German pavilion that can be visited with a few clicks from anywhere in the world. Reading QR codes painted on the wall in empty halls is not worth the trip to Venice.

Ein enttäuschender, weil in die Cloud kopierter virtueller deutscher Pavillon, der mit wenigen Klicks von jedem Ort auf der Welt aus besichtigt werden kann. In leeren Sälen an die Wand gemalte QR-Codes auszulesen lohnt den Weg nach Venedig nicht.
