Attention New Yorkers!
Just kidding everyone, I couldn't resist the title of this one after I had processed it.
Hope you all are having a great day!
About the Photo:
Just having a bit of fun.
An HDR composed of 9 single shots tonemapped in photomatix and stitched together in photoshop. It was a lot of fun composing it. I realized after processing it that I captured the man riding the rickshaw in three of single photos which make up the bottom part of the picture.

Miss him so much! I think the world would be a better place today with him still here. Maybe we can learn from what he wrote.

NOTE: That image is in my landing page...
I did that in 2005, December 7th. It was on Ana's site at first, like all of Deanna's first projects. I did Ana's site, and got stats, of course. One day early 2006 a referrer came in from Google Japan....for the single word "imagine" I clicked the referral link, and it took me to page 1 of the images for the word imagine, for Google Japan, it was the first image too.
I told my friend and sent her the link. She was like, wow, how did you ever find that? I told her it was in my stats. The next time I sent her a link, about two years later it was for Google images...."gwenie2006 tutorial".... and it had her book pages, all of them, with links to hundreds of different places, how you get multiples.
oh! this was in my Google stats on flickr, 2010....
www.flickr.com/groups/DCMemorialFoundation/discuss/721576...
I sent eMails all that week, and never once got any reply. First time with no replies too. I later figure out what the difference was in those two searches too. The link had been truncated, like in an email to someone, and it fooled the referrer because it still had a URL address.

Mike Oldfield...Tubular bells.
I usually add to my album of the week series at the weekends but as im away camping this weekend i have sneaked this one in early....and what an album it is, selling 2,630,000 copies in the Uk alone with an estimated 17 million sales worldwide...The album stayed for 279 weeks in the british charts...This was Oldfields first album and also Virgin records first release...what a great start.
This was both Mike Oldfield's debut record and Virgin Record's first release. An excerpt from side one was used in the movie THE EXORCIST (1973) which greatly boosted sales of the album. The cover photo is by Trevor Key who would go on to make many album cover photo's.
His work can be seen on albums by The Sex Pistols, Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark, Joy Division, Roxy Music, and Peter Gabriel, to name a few.
For once I know the location. It is Oxford Street and the bus is just leaving the Tottenham Court Road/Charing Cross Road junction, heading towards Oxford Circus. I seem to remember that in the late 1960s there was a new record shop opened, named Virgin Records. As I remember it was over a shoe shop which you walked through to go upstairs. It was situated on the North side of Oxford Street, roughly behind the bus. See more in comments by RTM Boy.
Similar to the previous bus in my “stream”. It is a Metro Cammell body RTL.
Leyland Titan. RTL569 / KGU19. With LT 1949 – 1968. Exported to Ceylon Transport Board. Withdrawn from service in 1977.

The second image (outside of the Blizzard of 2006 image (see in New York City set)) that I've ever shot in Times Square. Usually avoid this area of the city but found myself there this evening... Will have to follow StuckInCustoms' (Trey) tutorial and break out the photoshop if I'm ever to do this in HDR.
