Rod Hunt was commissioned to design a bus sculpture for Transport for London's Year of the Bus Sculpture Trail taking place in London from 20th October 2014 to early December. The launch event took place in London's Trafalgar Square on 17th October 2014. Rod's bus will be on display in Victoria Street, SW1 from October 20th for seven weeks.
Quote: “I found inspiration by looking at the Key Bus Routes in central London map & seeing that it almost looks like the map is spelling the word "Bus" in the route lines.”

Up to 60 New Routemaster bus sculptures will be unveiled across London in October as part of celebrations to mark the Year of the Bus. The bus sculptures, which are 2.5m long, 1m high and 0.5m wide, will be painted and adorned by well-known and aspiring artists to showcase the vital role that London’s buses play in the life and economy of the city and the UK as a whole.
Londoners and visitors to the city will get the chance to discover the bus sculptures, which will be organised in clusters, on foot by following public art trails in five areas of the capital – three in central London and two in outer London.

I'd like to rescan all of my older uploads in the fullness of time.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Individual images with an across Scotland theme are a feature of the CRSmith adverts which gradually appeared on 18 Edinburgh trams from August 2017. On the right, Peterhead in Aberdeenshire is represented by the lighthouse at Buchan Ness, south of the town at Boddam. The 35 metre high tower was built in 1827 with the red bands (to make it more visible during the day) added in 1907. On the left is the now familiar sight of Glasgow's equestrian statue of the 1st Duke of Wellington ( in front of the Gallery of Modern Art on Queen Street) topped with a traffic cone. The statue by the Italian born French sculptor, Carlo Marochetti, was erected in 1844, but in recent years, despite the best efforts of Glasgow City Council and the police, the habit of nighttime revellers adorning Wellington's head with a traffic cone continues. To see all the individual CRSmith images so far, go to my CRSmith album.

Maximum Whiteness :
This car has got to be one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE cars in the history of cars i've been in. Why? Because I'm connected to it. Back in 2014, I helped persuade my best friend (and now owner) that this car was the car for him. Either i'm an amazing salesman, or it didn't take much convincing because that same week we were on a flight to Miami to pickup this beast. Upgraded Turbos, intercooler, exhaust, external wastegates, the whole nine yards...except it was silver...and he HATES silver cars.
We drive the car back from Miami to Cincinnati in about a day, both just amazing by the raw power this car had. I loved this car, and immediately hated mine. This car was the reason I took my mild 996TT and still trying to make it wild.
We drove this car over 6,000 miles in a road rally charity (seen decalled in my photostream below) and on the way home chunked the motor. The car never started again, until Mike pulled the motor and after a grueling 9 months went through the process of building it up. Now she is back on the streets, and in order to make this car *COMPLETE* for him, he HAD to have the color changed.
Mike hooked up with Kevin from DreamWrapsUSA, a local and phenominal vinyl car wrapper who does amazing work. Matte white with gloss black accents was the only way to go for Mike, and faaaaaaaaaaaaaWAS HE RIGHT. The car has multiple sets of wheels for road / track purposes, so will probably be popping up in my feed a lot...plus it's the sexiest thing i've seen on 4 wheels.
Once the clutch is broken in, Mike will be back to the dyno to hopefully set the record at the local 'dreamcrusher' dyno hosted by Turn In Concepts. TiC, the shop who built the motor, is confident it will be the most powerful thing they've had ever...and we can't wait.
