This unique image appears on tram 277 as part of the across Scotland theme of window company CRSmith's advertising. An agreement with Edinburgh Trams sees 18 trams being covered in a vinyl wrap with one section different on each tram. Here Robert the Bruce - once King of Scots - is common to both images. On the left is the Bruce statue at Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire (one of the communities that claims to be his birthplace) while the tower of Dunfermline Abbey ( which has his name sculpted around the tower) is on the right. Bruce was buried here minus his heart.
Our finished spaceplane paintjob, with from L-R: Drew Cullen, Rob Eastwood, Paul Shackleton, Dave Akerman and Anthony Stirk.

On Hogmanay, due to street closures in connection with the Hogmanay street party , trams are unable to serve York Place, St. Andrew Square and Princes Street. Here we see tram 270 just after it leaves West End-Princes Street stop on its way to the airport. Just after it leaves the next stop at Haymarket, trams join the reserved track for the remainder of the journey to the airport.
