Bracken is getting an old boy these days.
He's now in his 14th year.
Once upon a time he would have loved to run and roll in the snow but not as much theses days.
Lens is viltrox 28mm (photo cropped quite a bit), see my recent photo of a same scene from an 56mm crop lens, for a FOV comparison.
been using my tripod (that I haven't previously used for about a year) to test different NDs, blackmist filters etc.
to list and collocate my equipment. that's seemed like a reasonable thing to do.
no better place than do it through my window in a late autumny hour.
the result is:
- 21 long exposed photos (from 3.2'' to 15'') composited into one
- I tested all the combinations using UVs/CPLs/Blackmist filter as I wanted the see the best combo
- Photos are cropped to 2160px along the shorter axis and all combined into one. That's just way to much, but still good enough to not lose quality on a 4k screen. bear in mind my sensor is of size 5304px along the shorter axis so that is, cca 2.46x CROP or nearly 60%.
Too bad you can't crop more accuretely in my version of LR.
Todo: Try out longer focal length with my sigma 56mm crop lens, as I cropped quite significantly. And see if the quality of the same scene would be any sharper or cleaner than this cropping exercise.
The teeny, tiny pinpricks of light along the foot of the mountains are Alicante’s airport landing lights. Taken from our topmost terrace, Fuji XT5 and #Viltrox 13mm f1.4, no edits other than dropping the exposure a stop or so incamera
A leisurely stroll on Main Street, Ashbourne brought me face to face with this wall of colour. XT5 and Viltrox 13mm f1.4 - Velvia film sim and Snapseed / Luminar edit on iPad Pro
Previously Derby Greyhound Stadium aka ‘The Jailies’ (it used to be a prison before the dog track took over).
A lot of my youth was misspent here as we used it as a playground.
