A classic view of Vik during good circumstances, a beautifully situated town along the stunning southcoast of Iceland.

It wasn't that easy to get this shot beacause of the ferocious winds on this slope....:)

I love Icelands Churches, a lot are very remote and the locations are very atmospheric. Vik church is very popular with tourists more so in summer when the lupins are in full flower.

The waves in Iceland are pretty scary. One of these waves crashed and almost took me out into the ocean with all my gear... Glad nothing serious happened. Of cos this lone rock is so #unique, I lost track of time. :X

I love the view from Vík beach, off to Reynisdrangar (aka the cool stacks!). I tried a slightly different angle on this visit. Although it looks so peaceful and smooth as a result of the long exposure, the waves were brutal!

Vik a town in southernmost #Iceland. This was taken on #Reynishverfi #beach with its impressive and massive massive basalt columns. According to legend, the Reynisdrangar needles are the remains of 2 night-trolls, who tried to pull a three-masted ship to land. But they were caught by the dawn and when daylight broke they turned into stone.

Its a great area to visit and pretty short drive to from Reykavik
