Another one of those moments in life where you have to wonder and marvel at the intelligence behind it all. Although we have an idea of how this was created over time by the forces of nature, it doesn＇t really do it justice to understand how we＇re here to contemplate and experience it all. These are some of the most rugged, untamed, yet frequented mountains on the planet. Here you＇re looking at Gasherbrum VII, V, the twins, and Gasherbrum VI on the far right further distant, upper Baltoro.

Sleeping Rhine

I remember this autumn photo at the Rhine. We had low water and the water surface of the Rhine was still and crystal clear. My trousers wet from standing in the water, but it looked so beautiful that it was ok to have this involuntary treading through the water...;)

Sony 24-240 mm a lens that was a magnet for dust.

Recently unveiled, the new King Henry VII statue near Pembroke Castle.

Born in Pembroke Castle, 28th January 1457. Henry VII was the last King of England to win his throne on the field of battle, defeating King Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth 22nd August 1485, known as the last significant battle of the War of the Roses. Henry VII is one of only a few Welsh-born men to have become King of England.
