This ZX Spectrum was supposed to be running Manic Miner, but it looks like it crashed.

In many of the pictures you'll see that the public interface isn't hooked up to the system in question, but instead a hidden computer, which I presume is a computer running an emulator. Thankfully emulators and ROMs are available, otherwise computer history could have been lost.
