Here, Ohio State University astronomy professor Dr. David Ennis takes two classrooms of high school students, including a Canadian classroom, through a lesson on how astronomers use space telescopes to make observations in infrared light, and what astronomical objects this light reveals.
Dr. Ennis began studying astronomy in 1975.
This program and the related kit have been partially funded by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Chandra Grant.

A number of Metcalf Summer Research Interns spent ten weeks working in laboratories in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Beijing. The four Beijing interns, affiliated with Peking University and Qinghua University, presented the findings of their summer projects in an August 20 videoconference that brought together classmates in Chicago, the faculty director of the program, and an additional intern who had worked in Taiwan.

Here, COSI Outreach Educator Jessie Teng leads students in a Tennessee classroom through the hands-on program from the COSI studio in Columbus, Ohio.
Students in grades K-2 create their own "energy bugs" and then investigate different energy sources with the COSI Inventor to make their bugs dance, jump, and jiggle.
Each program includes hands-on materials for 30 students to use during the 45 minute show and materials for many additional hours of in class activities.

Dr. Sylvester Black is with the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Division of Transplant Surgery. CAF Secretary General, Veron Mosengo-Omba opened on Monday, June 14th, 2021, via videoconference, the VAR refresher course for the match officials of the Interclub competitions (Total CAF Champions League and Total CAF Confederation Cup) semifinals, scheduled next weekend.
The General Secretary lauded the efforts of the CAF Refereeing Department and motivated the match officials to continue their outstanding performance in the upcoming matches. He highlighted the importance of the referees' strong character integrity.
Mr Mosengo-Omba reiterated CAF continuous support for its referees, confirming that the African Football governing body is sparing no effort for refereeing development and promotion in the continent.
The Interclub semifinals' first leg will take place this weekend. On Saturday 19 June, Esperance (Tunisia) will entertain title holders Al Ahly (Egypt) in Rades, while Wydad (Morocco) hosts Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa) in Casablanca at the 2020-21 Total CAF Champions League semifinal first leg.
The first leg of the 2020-21 Total CAF Confederation Cup semifinal takes place on Sunday 20 June 2021, with the Pyramids of Egypt playing hosts to Raja of Morocco in Cairo, and Coton Sport of Cameroon receiving JS Kabylie of Algeria in Yaounde.
