The Wedding Ceremony at St Albans Abbey

Epithalamium ... Carol Ann Duffy Rings

For both to say

I might have raised your hand to the sky

to give you the ring surrounding the moon

looked to twin the rings of your eyes with mine

I might have tied a blade of grass ...

I whispered the word in your ear

that brought us here,

where nothing and no one is wrong,

and therefore I give you this ring...

Pictorial Perspective of a Realistic View over the Possibilities ...

Thoughts while getting ready for another ceremony tonight ...

Wishing them every Blesssing for their Future together ...

A reflection on my new book of poetry

Pinhole exposed on photo paper with beer cans and photo paper. 2014 Year

Painted on the wall by the back door of our vacation rental. This was such a wonderful place to stay!

Op 8 juli 2005 arriveerde Railion 6441 met een viertal fabrieksnieuwe reservebakken VIRM in Amersfoort.

So, this is the last of my Pip-verse Justice League.... Yup. Totally didn't make a Flash and forget to edit him...

(I'll get to it eventually... Maybe.)

Anywhoozlesworth, Aquaman. I didn't want to make him all manly and bearded and, ya' know, Thor-like. My goal was to make it look at least somewhat like his classic costume while being modern-looking as well.

So, story...

I'm thinking he's a marine biologist, 'cuz I don't know Aquaman's original origin. xP While exploring a sunken city he finds a golden trident. Upon pulling it out the city comes back to life and the residents declare him their king, 'cuz he fulfilled some sort of prophecy or whatever.

As far as powers, the trident lets him breath underwater, swim at high-speeds, attack fluently in the water and communicate with sea life.

Yeah, I like this one. I had a lot of fun coming up with the design and story.

I love this verse [explore] :]

(Passion for Nature)

Passion for nature it's the things I really love's, the perfume of a flower, the quietness of a dove,

awesome is the butterfly, beetle or bee, but especially the happy cat a purring on my knee. 😻

"Passion Flower"

Passiflora, Passion Vines.

There are around 550 different species of Passion flowers around the world, these beautiful architectural flowers are normally found in tropical regions, like Central South Africa.

Also these have colourful oval fruits, the ones from this particular plant have a reddish orange fruit .... very exotic looking for sure!

These flowers are sometimes used to make tea, and used to smoke, apparently smoking these will relax you, but personally I would give it a miss! 😂

These flowers look to me like mini alien spacecraft's, just the sort of image to get my imagination reeling. 💡💫

Love & Peace!

Thank you so much everyone who took the time to check out my photography .... Cheers! 💓

Let friends forbear to mourn and weep

While sweetly in the dust we sleep:

This toilsome world we’ve left behind

In heaven a resting place to find

Inspired again (by T S Eliot)

This one might not be super noir but that's okay. The trenchcoat doesn't fit on him since he's short, but I find that humorous more than anything else. Oh, and what he's holding is supposed to be a pipe, not a random dude's hand. :P

“Write on the sand when the tide is low,

Seek it again when the waters flow;

Whisper a word when the wind is heard,

And wait until echo repeat the word.”

Two of my photos combined. One of a verse from a treasured book the other a shot off the telly - Raymond Blanc's herb garden!

O ME! O life!... of the questions of these recurring;

Of the endless trains of the faithless—of cities fill’d with the foolish;

Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?)

Of eyes that vainly crave the light—of the objects mean—of the struggle ever renew’d;

Of the poor results of all—of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me;

Of the empty and useless years of the rest—with the rest me intertwined;

The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life?

Answer.

That you are here—that life exists, and identity;

That the powerful play goes on, and you will contribute a verse.

-- Walt Whitman

This was another fairly quick figure. I'm pretty happy with the way he came out! And I'm sorry if the editing isn't as good as My last picture, I was kinda rushing it. :/

Okay first off, the cane was made out of a BrickForge shepherd's crook that I modified and the end of the cane has a Lego katana handle glued on the end. The watch was made from a BrickForge vambrace piece with the end of a stud glued on. The face/body/arms/legs are all 100% painted by me. The vest and coat sleeves were sculpted using a self-hardening clay called Miliput. That's about it, thanks for looking! :)

Gorse shield bug/Piezodorus lituratus. Solleveld, Den Haag, 24 juli 2023.

An inspiration from a good friend. The right page is from a 19th century children's book. The left page is mine, photo and verse.

A follow up to my “Awesome-Verse Justice League” post from a while back. That photo was very well received and I immediately planned to do this. L to R

The desert does not speak — it writes.

Each line in the sand,

a verse of silence,

whispered by the wind,

meant only for those who listen with stillness.
