Each of the statues is different, some are higher than others, some with fatter bodies and others with more skinnier ones and even in the faces, some have coarse features and others finer features. It’s believed that these differences are due to the fact that they’re representations of ancestors, so they tried to give them a touch of veracity. The largest statue with a pukao (headdress) is 14 meters tall.

Ich habe mal wieder was ausprobiert, ein Schwenker mit der Kamera während der Aufnahme. Das richtige Tempo, der richtige Moment... hmmm war gar nicht so einfach. Aber ein Bild ist mir dennoch gelungen. Mir gefällts :-)

I once tried something again, a swivel with the camera while shooting. The right pace, the veracity moment ... hmmm was not so easy. But a picture is me yet succeeded. I like it :-)

THE VERACITY OF LIQUID VIBRATIONS

I started reading a book "Sensitive Chaos: The Creation of Flowing Forms in Water and Air" last summer and put it down to attend to gardening and other chores. An Instagram friend reminded me of the book when she saw my post yesterday. I began reading it again last night and quickly found what attracted me to the book initially and why I'm drawn to water and its movements and properties.

On June 24, 1981, six young people saw on the Crnica Hill, several hundred meters above the place called Podbrdo, a young woman with a child in her arms.

The next day, June 25, 1981, at the same time, four of them approached the place where they saw the One whom they recognized as the Mother of God.

Thanks to the apparitions of Our Lady, Medjugorje from an ordinary rural parish has changed into a place where crowds of pilgrims from around the world gather (in the first twenty years over 20 million). It became one of the world's largest prayer centers, comparable to Lourdes and Fatima.

According to the visionaries, revelations continue to this day. The Catholic Church is examining the veracity of these revelations and has not yet rejected or confirmed them.

24 czerwca 1981 roku sześcioro młodych ludzi zobaczyło na wzgórzu Crnica, kilkaset metrów ponad miejscem zwanym Podbrdo młodą niewiastę z dzieckiem na ręku.

Następnego dnia 25 czerwca1981 w tym samym czasie, czworo z nich, zbliżyło się do tego miejsca gdzie widzieli Tą, którą rozpoznali jako Matkę Bożą.

Dzięki objawieniom Matki Bożej, Medziugorje ze zwykłej wiejskiej parafii przemieniło się w miejsce, gdzie gromadzą się tłumy pielgrzymów z całego świata (w pierwszych dwudziestu latach ponad 20 milionów). Stało się jednym z największych światowych centrów modlitwy, porównywalnym z Lourdes i Fatimą.

Zgodnie z relacją widzących, objawienia trwają do dziś. Kościół katolicki bada prawdziwość tych objawień i do tej pory ich nie odrzucił ani nie potwierdził.

Some say it's not possible for a snowflake to develop twelve branches on it's own, some say it only occurs when two 6-sided snowflakes collide. I don't know the veracity of those claims, but I have read that that six-branched flakes comprise some 0.1% of all snowflakes, and twelve-sided are even rarer still. I've seen very, very few.

This flake's 'extra' six branches look to be almost identical to the rest of the branches, which leads me to think they were all formed at the same time. Nature won't tell, she keeps her secrets.
