On March 1, 2012, ACG- CT (Association for Corporate Growth) and CVG brought together operators, buyers, investors, and transaction professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities within the consumer industries. "Growing and Investing in Consumer Products" is the Northeast's largest M&A conference focused on early stage and middle market consumer-facing companies, and is a can't-miss opportunity to listen to and network with an exciting group of professionals with a great history of consumer product successes.
The program included a workshop for exhibitors and CVG/ACT members, concurrent panel sessions(early, late stage) and a keynote address given by Tom Hayes, Managing Partner & Principal, New England Consulting Group.

Intelligent Imaging Systems (IIS), and its sister company, Drivewyze, have announced a $7.5 million round of funding led by Emergence Capital Partners and iNovia Capital. Shawn Abbott, iNovia Partner, said, “Drivewyze is a perfect example of our investment thesis at work; that large existing industries -- in this case transportation -- can derive radical benefit from new services leveraging the now ubiquitous mobile Internet.”
Intelligent Imaging Systems (IIS), and its sister company, Drivewyze, have announced a $7.5 million round of funding led by Emergence Capital Partners and iNovia Capital. “At Emergence Capital, we have seen mobile technology allow workers in many large industries to take advantage of the cloud," said Emergence Capital partner Brian Jacobs. "IIS and Drivewyze are using the cloud to redefine road safety and driver productivity. It is clear that states are embracing Drivewyze PreClear and fleets are seeing a significant financial return.”
