That moment when you have to redesign your church's preschool logo in a couple of hours because a previous designer had used clipart and it came back to bite us in the behind.
Let me know what your thoughts are everyone!
This will be used for our Monday-Friday preschool as well as double as the logo for our Sunday/Wednesday-night Birth-PreK ministry.

I did a version of this picture forever ago but I was never happy with the coloring. I found the linework again last night and decided to have another go at it. :)
Out of all of the pictures I've done (and believe me, there have been a lot), this one is the most me, I think.

Oakley Ad artwork featuring the awesome surfer Bruce Irons.
Artwork created in Illustrator from photo references. Art direction from Paul Schulte of Oakley.
The original is the best, but here's my attempt at recreating this famous Schwarzwaldbahn travel poster in Adobe Illustrator.
I changed some of the trees around using my own templates, but it still bears a close resemblance to the original poster.
Created in Adobe Illustrator; aircraft silhouette inspiration from a vintage Moroccan Airlines poster.
My poster design for The National's September 7 & 8, 2011 concerts at Philadephia's historic Academy of Music. Yo La Tengo and Wye Oak are also on the bill.

Graphic/illustration. These both started off as a design from an old book cover that I vectorized and then played around with. Pretty much just used a bunch of layers, and played around with multiplying and color dodging them...and screening a few...and then doing color overlays (I think).
This is the second Oakley ad I worked on featuring pro surfer Bruce Irons. I believe it's the most used since I've seen it at the ASR tradeshow and in many publications. It's also the final ad that was run in the United States.
Artwork created in Illustrator from photo references. Art direction from Paul Schulte of Oakley.
Features the Marilyn Monroe quote:
"I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

Befor there was television and twitter every village had his own tower of talk announcing the most important talk of town of the day.
Here's Botswana from my bestselling book Wheres Stig? for the BBC TV show Top Gear.
Available at Amazon
www.amazon.co.uk/Wheres-Stig-Top-Gear/dp/1846078083
The mysterious Stig, Top Gear's resident racing driver and one of the most popular members of the TG team, has finally got a book of his own. But you'll have to work hard to find him, as he's been cleverly concealed in a series of brilliantly drawn scenes. You might spot him getting down with the kids at a rock festival; or overseeing his workforce in his secret underground lair. He could be one of the spectators lining the route of Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week; or soaking up the sun on the Costa del Stig. Filled with visual jokes and references to the TV series, and with extra credits for spotting his colleagues at Top Gear and a few other hidden gems, Where's Stig? will give Top Gear fans hours of fun.
