Just a little tasty bit, since I haven't uploaded anything in a while. Yeah, I do notice that chocolate bit is just way too repetitive. I ought to mix it up, but I probably won't.

This is one of the designs taking part in Sanrio T-shirt design contest for a chance to be featured on official Sanrio merchandise. I was really looking forward to making another My Melody design, but then this thing popped into my head and was so different from all the other ideas, that it stuck. Though she hardly needs introduction - world famous Kitty White herself:

the submitted designs each represent bit different sensibilities: 90's retro pop kawaii, girly pink romantic / sweet lolita, naval chic and what I can only describe as maybe glam, swag or bling (^ - ^)>

The Mummy is a 1932 horror film starring Boris Karloff, Zita Johann, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan and Arthur Byron.
The film is about an ancient Egyptian mummy named Imhotep who is discovered by a team of archeologist and inadvertently brought back to life through a magic scroll. Disguised as a modern Egyptian, the mummy searches for his lost love, whom he believes has been reincarnated into a modern girl.
True black and white graphic created from scratch and recolored. Added to create something with a period feel, with my original art.
