Adrian Frutiger was born near Interlaken, Switzerland, the son of a weaver. As a boy, he experimented with invented scripts and stylized handwriting in negative reaction to the formal, cursive penmanship then required by Swiss schools. His early interest in sculpture was discouraged by his father and by his secondary school teachers; they encouraged him to work in printing. Though in the world of print, he maintains the love of sculpture that has influenced his type forms.
Frutiger's typefaces include:
* Ondine (1954)
* President (1954)

No one can say that they do not enjoy receiving the “likes” on their feed. But I enjoy the comments more—comments which explain why they like or dislike something. I don’t mind negative comments really. If we only receive kudos and no criticisms then we will never grow.
In America, I learned the arts of being “politically correct.” The problem with that stance is that I never really know what people are trying to tell me. I prefer direct and open communication. Sometimes it does hurt quite a bit, but it only hurts when we have ego. Once we remove the self-pride (which is one of the seven deadly sins), there is nothing to be hurt about.
I would much rather you tell me that you don’t like something than telling me that “it’s nice” but secretly hating it.
Please criticize me in my face and tell me you absolutely dread this crap that I am posting. If you tell me, I will correct my course and post relevant content that is of interest to you. Of course I could also agree to disagree with you.
Feedbacks—good or bad—are always good. There is no such thing as constructive vs destructive criticisms. For me, criticisms are always good. It is always feedback. But elaborate feedback are better, because we know the why.
Have an opinion. Elaborate.

Removing history does not work. Public unsearchability creates a false sense of safety. Just because you are not searchable by the public domain does not equate unsearchability.
Put yourself in the shoe of Google: if you just spend a whole lot of resources to dig up all these information, are you really going to disposed them all that easily? Most likely not. If I were Google, I will be happy to remove your result from the public domain to keep peace with you.
Tada! Due to quesiontable actions committed by you to fulfill your very desire to remove data, I have just identified why I get into the search business at the first place: to mine important intelligence data that no one else has a copy of. Thanks to your help, I have just identified what you considered to be most damaging to your credibility. I’m sure that businesses will pay me tons of money just to get their hands onto my treasure chest.

Vectora is the corporate font for SML Universe. SML picked it mostly for his love for Adrian Frutiger. Another criteria which makes Vectora special is that Frutiger designed it after realizing that there was a need for sans serif type that could be read easily at small sizes, which in many ways make it ideal for designers who love setting tiny type. Yet more of importance to SML, is that it is not a very popular font, as such the typography set by SML would not look like everyone else’s, yet its character has all the sweetness seen in other more popular Frutiger fonts such as of course the Frutiger and Avenir family. The only unfortunate thing with using a not-so-popular font is that it does not have the niceties which SML cares about, such as real small caps and figure numerals (aka x-height numerals). So SML is considering drawing his own some time soon unless of course Linotype would be so kind to consider creating Vectora Next or equivalent.

Notes
It may look like brushstrokes, but this was in fact rendered in 3D, even though the result resembles nothing machine-made because it does not appear repetitive, which is precisely the point. Making it highly useful to create a unified voice within an identity or a set of identities while maintaining uniqueness and originality to its own.
